I can't see it taking that much time to add them, though.
Yes I agree. I believe it has nothing to do with the LP store at all. It's just convenient to say so for a argumentative point, no offense to Aero at all. I believe the truth is much more bitter and requires a look in the mirror.
There are so many things that failed the FW.
For one, the thing about fighting for districts that would quickly be reclaimed in the matter of minutes.
But to me, the biggest thing that hasn't been properly acknowledged is that FW was basically PC elite meets the Pubs.
Caldari and Amarr faced this tragedy. Elite corporations queued up in Gal and Minimatar and wrecked face. They wrecked face HARD. I can only speak from the Cal side because I was heavily involved with trying to align people together and work to better the stormfront.
Everybody wanted to be a chief without realizing somebody had to be the indians. It was a mess. Unorganized Cal players ran into the likes of TeamPlayers and others and when faced with this stiff, brutal competition, they ran. The comm channels were poorly handled and the FCs were lacking. Shout out to Mike Ruan for the doing the best he could in the war effort.
After constantly getting steamrolled, people just threw their hands up and left. You couple that with LP points instead of ISK and it became a non profitable expenditure that hurt wallet and pride.
To me, that lead to the downfall of FW. I couldn't tell you how I read the FW comm in utter shame. Spies galore. People in the comm channel inviting anybody to it. Folks "lfs" for Gallente in a Caldari FW comm-it was all around bad.
Just to be clear, this post isn't a rant, just a honest observation that lead to the downfall of FW.

I'd rather they work on getting everything balanced before they focus on FW.
As a strong supporter of Legion, I still want to see a working FW system here in Dust to be translated to Legion with hardly any flaws.
That said, I feel that we need to get this "small community" together at some point to discuss the steps needed to fix FW. Then we can focus on one point at a time to propose the best options for each fix.
For example, -A spreadsheet of the "bare minimum", "wanted", and "all" items that are missing from the FW market -Our opinion on LP and isk values for items in the market -Ways to encourage players to join FW matches instead of public contracts
Is there anyone on the CPM who would be interested in working with us on this? Would a separate section on the forums help (or should we raid one of the "dead" sections such as one of the random map feedback threads lol)
Can we get a skype group together to meet weekly to come to agreements on certain subjects?
Instead of just talking about it, let's take action.

To be honest. I see more Q'syncs for Caldari than anything
and it's the higher tier corps fighting for Caldari.
But on the flip side Outer Haven, Nyain San and the like can't be present for every match and Blueberry Gallente Players are immensely better than Blueberry Caldari FW players.

Hmm I distinctly remember the support of Team Players, AE, Fatal Absolution, etc during the Junip Crusade.... but like you said it was impossible to keep them around and fighting for your factions.
But like we found back in the early days of FW.... high tier/ large and more well manned corps could and would run up against strong competition...... and there was so much competiton.
I smacked talked the Min Militia until the got organised and whupped out asses with the help of STB and Restless Spirits...not to mention Prima Gallicus and Cybedyne.
NAO smack talked the Amarr Militia. We organised round the clock FW matches, then made contact/ were made in contact by Cubs, AE, and a bunch of other Amarr FWers in a single channel.
We flipped the warzone in 2 day and held it for another 6 weeks.
We arrogantly smack talked NAO again and they joined WINMATAR and took back the warzone.
ETC..... the desire to compete has left the WZ and is being replaced by a farmers paradise.

Copy that.
I saw better organization on the Amarr side. Back then, people picked Gal just to troll Cal players because they knew they would give up easily.
And that pains me to even say that. I have to remember to unclench my teeth.
