Eh? Yes lets make the HMG worthless again. Great idea. I can smell those rail rifles on my sentinel suits already. ... yep, if you lose 5 meters of your range it will be completely useless.. it don't matter if it has the highest DPS in the game or anything... |

The only way people will stop crying about how powerful a heavy is will be by growing a brain and developing something that can at least pretend to be tactics. Last time i played a couple days ago 5 of the 10 domination matches i was in were won by clone counts. Getting cloned in a dom or skirm is pathetic it means there was no teamwork and you were throwing bodies at the enemy. I have been dominated in matches before and not been cloned out because the team was actually trying to move strategically rather than just running at the enemy and getting blasted. Apply this to the end game... PC. In city sockets there are sometimes 2 objectives sometimes 3. All those objectives in the city are in close quarters... meaning up close. So to come out with the win you HAVE to push those objectives, and you can't shoot them from far away because.. again.. close quarters. So I figured having passive squad shared scans remove would make it more difficult for heavies to watch their flank from, and there for, more balanced. This would encourage teamwork and call outs. |

Eh? No. Sentinels in general are slow moving meat shields. However we can't turn too fast with that HMG. So out range us (which all rifles can do) and get on our blind side and boom we are fu cked. Or grow some balls and rush in with some remote explosives or a shotgun and see who dies first. Our range is fine as is. As for removing squad shared Passive scan... I run solo most days as I can't be stuffed looking for a squad anymore so it doesn't bother me either way, Read my post up there ^^^^
Also, you can kill me in half a second from 25 meters away... but it takes 2 seconds to kill you from 5 meters away... |

Basically, I said that in the end game, PC, you have to push heavies in close quarters because there is no way to get a shot on them from far away... and even if you could shoot them from far away then they would just respawn by the time you got to the objective to hack it. If you don't push close quarters then you will lose.
So I suggest remove squad shared PASSIVE scans. Keep in mind you will still have shared active scanners. This will encourage teamwork and the use of call outs. |

Don't like entering CQC with fatties? Tough ****. Since it's our strong suit we dig in like ticks and force you to come to where we are at our most potent.
We call this "Tactics." Kinda like what happens when you bait a fatty into an open area. He tends to die. Well... I personally run heavy in PC sometimes... so I know the frustrations of being a heavy, that being said, losing 5 meters of range will not effect you very much at all. |
