But I can see literally no reason why a state would secede, let alone declare war. There is no possibility of civil war at all. Rebellion, perhaps, maybe twenty or thirty years down the track (and you can blame gun rights for that one) but even then I doubt it.


FULL DISCLOSURE: I'm Australian and a USA dual national. I have eggs in that basket, in a manner of speaking. And as a member of the Western world, I have a vested interest in the USA remaining the most militarily powerful nation in the world.

What biased non-sense. America's only blame is arming the middle east to fight russia and it going out of control from there. If you understood our history at all with them you'd know it's been nothing but us trying to help our allies while getting **** on in the process. America does not back down when threatened, and when we get punched we punch back harder. Look at our legal system in-land. What's the fine for speeding and literring? Do you really think that can worth 90 cents was worth a $4,000 fine?

Fact is - middle east can't handle there ****, and not only America feels threatened by the growing terrorist numbers over there. If we were the ones to step in another country would of - and that country would be much more likely to just light half a city on fire to shut up people they don't like to begin with.

Remember, the middle east went on a church burning rampage not too long ago, doing it over and over again, over reasons such as comics. If America wasn't so intervened in the area you'd bet your ass other countries would be leaving a mark over there.

I would also like to point out that one reason at least that the Middle East is unstable because of US intervention is because of Israel, specifically that without US intervention all the Israelis would be dead and consequently would not be contributing to instability.
As much distaste as I have for their behaviour I'm not really a fan of that outcome either.

Finally, to what exactly are you responding? I don't see how any of that is relevant to the topic at hand, which is the internal stability of the USA and the likelihood of said instability expanding into a fully-fledged Civil War.

USA did 9/11 I am not even going to read, there's already proof we had contact with terrorists who were a part of the planning, and there's evidence to support we gave them the intel necessary to pull there plan off. There's also some rumors, that some of your links supported, that they used american telecommunications to pull it off. But there is no concrete evidence, even with a third party security company doing the investigating, that any real contact between America and Terrisot caused 9/11, and there have been TONS of research to prove that they did, all of it for nothing.

well, if it's by BRICS you think our dollar is dropping in value then your late the party by a few decades. It's been the purpose to begin with to lower the Dollars value and increase Russia/China/Brazilian influence in there respective spheres. It's been working, slightly, but it's slowly starting to hurt Brazil, as they rely on the America and Allies for a lot of materials. It's never a good idea to get on the Common Wealths bad side, and I think Brazil realizes that, while China and Russia couldn't care less. Though with Euro and parts of Asia now putting a ban on trading with russia *Trade embargo* they're going to start starving in mass in the next decade.

I'd give it another 2 decades before Brazil realizes they have more to gain from Americanzing, especially with more asian and african countries doing so.

China as well is opening itself up to america, now allowing america to deal business in chinese borders for the first time in decades. If anything, our relationship with China is increasing in strength, and we have North Korea to thank as well as China's bad diplomatic policies to neighboring asian countries.

But the problem there is that we're much closer tied to Japan and there economics, almost conjoined by the hip, and China LOATHES JAPAN. Eventually there'll be conflict forcing America to choose Japans side, which will put Russia as a chinese ally.

It's a tough spot for us - we want to stay loyal to japan, but they're not doing anything to fix there problems with the mainland.
