if you let someone get within -at most- 9.2m of your vehicle long enough to throw 2 (or even 1 grenade) which takes at least 3 seconds for each grenade (not including travel time); then your an even greater scrub who should be punished for your gross incompetence.Dropships can be flung upside down... Thrown into walls... Or if you fire at the back end of a Bus (basically anywhere on the rear half) it will deal massive damage... You can 2 shot most of them if they don't pop hardeners... The only AV weapon that has ever flipped me upside down is a Large Missile Turret, and even then it was because I was flying too low to the ground, and not moving around enough. Player incompetence is not a valid argument.
Forge Guns don't flip me completely over, Railguns don't, and heck even a Wyrikomi/IASLs don't flip me completely over. As for being 2HK'd without hardeners, my Incubus would say otherwise.
Assuming Prof V, 3 Complex Amplifiers, and no Reps between hits:
- Kaalakiota FG = 3HK (9s)
- Wyrikomi Breach FG = 2HK (8s)
- Ishukone Assault FG = 3HK (6.75s)
It should be noted, that even though the Wyrikomi BFG can 2HK kill me, it will never happen because of my Afterburner, which allows me to evade his lock range in 4s (twice the time it takes for him to charge a single shot)So lets say we nerf vehicles because we can... it takes 3 or 4 missles to down a heavy suit... But you're okay with being able to 1 shot vehicles? I've done math in previous posts proving that the only vehicles in the game which can be OHK'd is either a Base Sica or MLT LAV. If you find yourself getting OHK'd with anything else, you should contact your Optometrist immediately.
Though hit-per-hit engagements aren't really valid, as it doesn't factor in the time it takes for each target to get a kill. If we were to balance things based solely on that, PLCs would be considered as the most OP weapon in DUST, while the CR would be considered one of the most UP in DUST.
