That is why scouts are a F***** joke. I can barely come close to your EhP unless sacrifice gear on my assault to make that much EhP. Its absolute BS. Like my Sig says remove cloak balance scouts and by balance I mean remove 1 low slot from Gal scout and 1 high slot from Cal scout then lower each of these two suits by 175 CPU and 60 PG and this should bring them back to balance. Without cloaks they do not need that much CPU/PG.
Remember scouts are recon not slayers, leave the assault part to assaults.
Closed Beta Vet and gave up on assault back to Heavy full time. Remove cloaks balance scouts.

My scout fittings range anywhere from 300 or so (kincat + uplink build for starting battles) to 700+ (Thales build and my injector/repper build that I'm starting to fool around with.) That's with advanced shields and plates, as I generally don't use proto gear outside of swarms.

I don't put much HP on my scout because I am rarely seen and don't feel I need it. Speed, stamina, stealth.
If I am spotted then I have done something wrong.

I'm more concerned about the Devs fixing Medium Frames. Being able to Light Assault in of itself isn't so bad so long as Mediums and Commnados can go Light Sentinel. Which they can't with the same efficiency.
Being able to cloak and Light Assault doesn't seem right. Cloaking should be a style of tanking not a stacking add-on. My personal concern is when something is done the Minmatar Scout will unfairly get nerfed. I'd rather any solutions pull the trouble makers inline rather than risk turning all Light Frames into a hard mode joke, again.

Problem with over stacking a module type on a Medium Frame forcing game nerfs solved. Sentinels not being able to easily bum-rush HMG range. Light Assaults being a choice with consequences.
An added bonus is if the extremes are gotten under control maybe Kin-Cats can get a review. They got the high fitting costs now because of previous abuse.

Yeah, I'm worried about my min scout. Thing barely has ANY HP. Certainly doesn't come close to the other scout types in eHP.

if i choose gallente scout (hoping for assault buff instead) i will have zero HP modules. instead 2 precisions, 2 damps, 2 range. and I will see every single move you make before you make it. the HP will not save you from EWAR.

242 Shield HP and 608 Armor HP is 850 HP, but effective HP depends on what class item you're using and what level proficiency the other player has.
850 total HP could be anywhere from 685 EHP against a Mass Driver with Proficiency V or it could be 923 EHP against Laser Rifles with Proficiency 0

Ya so do I but once you place all these items to make that 700 Ehp suit how much is left for gear? I can tell you its not much. On a Cal Assault you know and I know that our bonus lies in RR's or weapons in the same category. So if I was to equip a RR and a MAGSEC or Boltpistol I would have to use a very low skilled weapon for these weapons slots because they rely heavily on CPU and PG. The Cal assault needs more CPU and PG or reduce the CPU and PG on Rail technology, like the RR, BoltPistol, or Magsec.

I think my most tanked scout has maybe 300, thanks to a basic reactive plate. It's way more fun playing with kincats and damps and amps and energizers.

1. Read charlie updates. Assaults will have as many slots as logi after changes and way more cpu/pg. 2. Scout with only hp modules is bad, easy to ki-¦ and scan.
3. Calvin b.. read scouts description. They are for assasinations,infiltration etc.

Anything based on a percentage, such as Kin Cats is already effected by frame size. The speed boost a Kin Cat gives to a Sentinel is much lower than the speed boost a Kin Cat gives to a Scout, do to the difference in the base speed of the suit that is being modified.
The problem with Armor Plate is that it is not a percentage. It is a flat value, and that flat value is balanced for Medium Frame and Heavy Suits.
Putting Armor Plate on a Scout increases the ScoutGÇÖs health by a much higher percentage than it would for a medium frame or a Heavy, so the impact of that plate on the ScoutGÇÖs survivability is that much greater.
Now that I write this I realize that the movement penalty on plate is a percentage, so it probably has a higher impact on Scouts, so in that sense I guess the movement penalty for Plate does have different effects on different frame size.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

I despair at all these nerf scout threads as people clearly have little to no comprehension of the imminent changes.
CCP needs to hurry up and release Charlie as there is pretty much no point discussing balance until after it's released. Even then it will take at least a week for the "dust" to settle.
PS, I know it's off topic but heavies are getting the most minor of minor nerfs. I wish they would stop complaining about it. |

He just said how much his bad scout fit have hp. Heavy can have 2k hp Logi can have around 1,2k + Assault 1k And scout around 1k also.
Ps. Scouts stacks ferroscales. Normal plates makes scouts slow as hell.

So it's not really 1k for assault and scouts.
After Charlie add about 300hp to the assault. Sounds good to me, I just hope it doesn't make assaults OP. I'm looking forward to the slayers coming home to assault suits. They have been away since chrome.
Just so you know, using a proto Charlie min assault I can get nearly 800 hp, more speed than an Amarr scout, good stamina, similar shield regen to a scout, equal scan range to scouts, precision low enough to scan dampened mediums and heavies and low enough profile to avoid all scans except proto actives, gal and Amarr scouts and precision enhanced scouts. |

My cal scout runs around with about 400 HP if memory serves.
