Just like that little pedestrian button at intersections, CPM1's purpose is to provide the illusion of control, to make the players believe that their input is important, and that they are part of the "process".
No offence to the newest members, but I expect that the CCP Devs will continue to do whatever they want (read: whatever management TELLS them to do) regardless of CPM1's input or opinions, just like they always have.
Fanfest pretty much proved that CPM has very little (if any) influence on CCP's decision-making process. |

Soraya Xel wrote:Jimmy, if anything, that's why we're here. To continue to evolve and improve the relationship between CCP, the CPM, and the players. So that they value and integrate our feedback more than they have previously.
Good luck with that.
(and I'm only being half-sarcastic when I say that, btw )
Again, no offence to you or the other CPM. I'm sure most of you mean well and have good intentions, and I hope you are more successful than the previous bunch but, given the current state of things with Dust and CCP's (lack of) commitment to it's future, I just don't believe that the CPM as an entity is anything more than a way to keep the remaining players somewhat happy while the game slowly dies. |

They're OP!!!!
If not more (I have a theory that Rattati is the ONLY one still working on Dust at all, from a dark, damp, basement office illuminated by a single, bare 60 watt bulb that hangs from the ceiling, that he shares with last year's Christmas decorations and assorted out-of-date files stored in cardboard boxes). |

That's only because everyone keeps calling Logibro Rattati. Logibro is still working on it too it seems, he is just less visible on the forums.
Nice to know he's got someone to talk to down there, I guess. |
