This upcoming Fix is nothing to worry about. Just sit back and see what happens. If you are a true heavy and not a FOTM chaser this should be no problem. You only need to worry if after Hotfix charlie if more nerfs are still being brought up on the forums, If so thats the time to get vocal (in a constructive way, not illiterate gutter speak)

I'm looking forward to the changes, it'll make things interesting and let me try out some things I couldn't do before.
Balance is an ongoing process, and things will always change, best to keep an open mind and roll with the punches. Hell, EVE Is over 11 years old now and they're still constantly getting balance fixes. |

EVE/Dust has gone through and will continue to go through meta changes. It is the only way to keep a long term game fresh, otherwise it would get old and boring fast.
EVE had gone through so many changes I can't remember them all. But the changes forced you to adapt to the new play style and try to figure out how to make things work with new changes. This constant change is why EVE had remained so strong for 11+ years. Nothing ever gets old.
The changes in the Dust side haven't worked as well as on the EVE side but I think that is because there are so few options in Dust. Hopefully with Legion, we will have new suits, new roles and new vehicles. Just more of everything for a more dynamic battlefield.

I did just fine when we had "laser focused" HMGs.
They can't nerf me enough to make me whine like these little, entitled softies do in every post.

The only thing I'm not really excited.about is my new slot layout for amarr. I didn't skill into sentinel when it was first released as the amarr because of the 1h/4L and didn't go gallente because of the same layout. Now I'm stuck with a crap layout for AV purposes but I guess I will be focusing on finishing calsent for AV.

I have seen the numbers and it's entirely possible. Not on all suits and not if you're doing something stupid like full energizers but it's entirely possible, especially with the heavy weapon fitting reduction.

It's the problem when they have the range of a rail rifle on a 1200ehp suit. This "nerf" should simply make heaves play the way they were intended without restricting them out of using light weapons.

My only concern is about cal senitnel + forge, i use only assault forge and there is only ADV assault forge, so in my STD fit i need that low slot, idk if my fit will still be valid.

I have seen a couple heavies recently acknowledge issues, especially with regards to CPU/PG per available slot, but much like reasonable tankers, they are few and far between.

That could be an Assault HMG, they are designed to reach further. When we aim dow sight and crouch our spread decreases and we can aim further as well, same as every other weapon. We do play how were ment to, just some of us are way better than other and got some tricks |

With Max core it is still possible for me to fix all complex mods and HMG on my Gk.0, I havent tried with forges, but I do have to downgrade my grenades and sidearm. Not a huge penalty tbh.

There is a proto lvl assault forge also, if you are trying to say otherwise, Im not entirely sure... you may not be able to fit ADV on a STD, you may have to spend a few bucks on an ADV sentinel suit but the cost is negligible.

You cant do this with the Gk.0 You either have to downgrade the 2nd damage mod or drop the sidearm and grenade down to size.

The fit is all proto minus the grenade, and its a flux so it doesnt really matter about the level. Everything that matters on the fitting is complex and prototype.

Since we are gonna use such logic then scouts should get a cpu/pg nerf after all if the matar scout can fit full proto(even the nade  ) despite having the lowest capacity then the other races must have loads of extra pg and cpu
