This thread makes me feel so sad right now
In all honesty, I hope your voice is heard, because, as far as i can tell, you really are looking out for this game's best interests.

ISD, API, and localization are all possible with DUST.
Why? Because all three, developed well, will also work with Legion. And none of the three require additional load on the PS3 platform or the devs.

If anything ISD is a Community program, not a game program. If CCP is even mildly intelligent, they'll understand that the Dust community is *hopefully* very much the same as the Legion community. ISD will be beneficial for both games and is in no way limited by Dust's development limitations. |

So you would be waisting the development teams time who are working on DUST.
These items may be great in LEGION but the chances they would every be in dust are non existent so why waist there time and our community resources on them? *wasting *waste their And I don't remember who said it, or where, but it's "for all intents and purposes" not "for all intensive purposes". Because forums have very little to do with who actually gets elected, despite their inflated sense of self-importance. The reality is that the dedicated forum goers only make up a tiny fraction of the voting populace, and smart candidates spend the majority of their time NOT on the forums campaigning because not an efficient source of votes. |

The only person I've ever seen comment anything substantial on the new council is Iron Wolf Saber, and I've decided I quite like him from CPM0. Aeon is the only non-council member I've ever noticed saying anything well thought out (or intelligent). This new council is a joke, if you ask me (no offense Iron Wolf Saber; I like you).

Right, but the general apathy of the player-base was... disheartening. It was sort of a pain in the [redacted] to go to well known individuals within the community to talk only to ignored or be met with blatant trolling. There were a lot of players who simply didn't care to listen. I'm honestly surprised we had 1000 votes, I expected around 600.

Yes , that's what EVE is for .
Most of the voters come from EVE .
Dust is fazing out so why have representation from a dead weight ?
I just can't understand why this Dust community can't understand that .
You don't have a voice , only EVE players do ... part of the reason that CCP is taking legion live .
I don't even understand why people from this community even voted because you have no say , had no say and were never going to be a part of any viable decision making .
You have the forum and that's it .
This is for EVE players only .
Look at the comments and who get tagged ... who's suggestions are excepted and who gets ignored .
It's so easy to see .
" Your corporation is not well known . " , basically means that your not EVE famous enough .
You would think that CCP would have given the infantry refund that should have been in 1.8.

More then likely because most of us did not even know when or where to vote, like me. I've been cruising the forums only a few times in the last few months, always looking for the vote link, only to find out it has allready passed. In Eve they make election day well known, including where to vote with big massive neon signs. This is something that needs to be improved in Dust/Legion, the advertisement of it, only then you might see an increase in vote's.
Aeon i would not worry to much about it, your voice still matters to us plebs and you might still get a chance at it in Legion next time. |

So less than 1000 votes, I for one was about 2 or 3 of those votes using my alts... I imagine others voted with alts too.
So realistically were looking at about 500-750 people voting. That's a terrible turn out.
However lets be honest, CCP barely put any effort into telling people in game what was going on. A few lines of text does not capture peoples attention.
It should have been in game with an easy way in game to vote! But then again its CCP and they always doing things in strange and wonderful ways.....

Putting new UI in the game is a REALLY tall order. To be honest, I don't see how they could've done it. Also, voting in-game would've meant a list of names and nothing more, which meant few or none of the voters would've been informed. The in-game updates page, however, did specify that CPM voting was open.
