after they get a fitting bonus to "scouty" weapons and modules of course. It should be a pipe dream to fit even an advanced armor plate or shield extender on such a ewar and speed intensive suit

I am merely applying the same logic to scouts that was applied to heavies... is it wrong to do so?

I am merely matching the words of the scouts how can it be wrong for me and not for them? Also to call my modest proposal a rant is actually quite insulting to be honest

Yes because scouts start with the lowest pg/cpu as well as the lowest eHP........and in case you did notice but mods cost a lot of cpu/pg.....So cutting a scout pg/cpu would be just like saying just throw away all the work you did to earn the sp you needed top get all your scout skills to 5 because now they are making them completely useless
