Serious post, as this is really quite a startling change. I don't know if you guys have been paying attention, but for all the heavy's out there heads up! MAJOR changes coming to the heavy suits in Hotfix Charlie. We will have a LOT less PG and CPU. Not only that, but there is some module changes... for example, the 2 most known heavies will be changing slots. The Proto Gallente and Proto Ammar Sentinels will be switching slots, meaning the Ammar will now have 4 lows one high, and the Gallente will have 2 highs and 3 low. Now heres the thing... People who skilled into the Gallente Sentinels for that 1200 (about) armor setup? Forget about it. An Ammar with max armor skills will get 1344 armor... add in that max shield skill, which brings it up to 450 shields, that means you'll have a heavy running around 1794 total hp. HOLY ******* **** MATE! I am loving this new change. It makes sense that the Ammar should get the most lows, as it has a higher base armor then the Gallente. But **** me, I thought CCP was trying to "Nerf" heavies. Instead, it seems that we will be getting an even more powerful one out in the field. Gonna kick me some serious ***.

i am happy for all the armor stacking of plates these noobs will be doing makes it 10x easyer to kill them. great nerf CCP useing peoples stupidity to bring the heavy suit back in line.

My Amarr Sent is cool with it BUT my Cal sent is loosing a high slot (shields) and drastic PG reduction will hurt forger. So i guess I'll be putting my Cal Sent in storage TFN. |

I was just about to get the racial Amarr just for that slot layout. From playing with my Minmatar, I've learned that 2 Damage Mods is the better option anyways.

All this done to reduce certain racial sentinels from being played to balance out the whimpering folks who are crying nerf. It's why I play all classes. They are constantly changing crap and never keeping it the same. How the in the hell its two years later and we are still hacking suits and weapons? After two years?

Stacking armor plates is not the best idea in my opinion, but if you stack armor repairers, with each proto repairer having 7.5 hp/s repair, including the skill which increases that number, you could have nearly 40 hp/s repair on the Amarr Sentinel, how great is that?

With less pg then a scout how do you plan stack 4 complex armor plates? then math might add up for armor and shield totals but if your going for 4 complex armor plate then have fun with your standard weapons |
