Well appearently heavys didnt where allready hard enough to kill so CCP makes some nice changes like swapping the module slot layouts from the amarr and galente sentinels. Yes you have read it right the amarr heavy that allready has the most natural amount of armor gets aswell now the most lowslots.
So what does that mean? Its quite simple my fellow reptool slaves. You remember the 1250HP armor that the gallente sentinel had? Which was allways the wet dream of every logi wielding a reptool? Well think again the amarr has put on some weight and k.o. the gallente sentinel. To be precise the proto amarr sentinel is going to be capable of having a whooping 1344HP on armor with 4 complex plates.
You can read about the slot layout changes here: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=168380
and here is the spreadsheet that is aswell avaible: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JICv_CSUaIePNDrrytiK0KQPfHuZaeYShZC2hyse8iE/edit?pli=1#gid=51247728 |

Indeed and that certainly is an issue.
How to adequately reflect the Amarr and Gallente combat styles without unbalancing them.

Considering how it is the player with the Repair Tool which dictates whether or not the Sentinel survives, as well as the "leash" mechanic behind the repair tool, it is actually the "repper" who is the master, and the Sentinel the slave.
Though in all actuality, the Logi-Senti relationship is actually symbiotic, as the Sentinel relies on the Logistics for survivability, while the Logistics relies on the Sentinel for success.

What we have here is a case of CCP originally making Gallente the best armor tanking race in Dust and Amarr the dual tankers and then gradually shifting to Amarr being the best armor tanking race in Dust (as it should be to match racial themes in EVE) and incidentally turning Gallente into the dual tankers.
Now you have two groups who both believe they should be the best armor tankers in the game and it gets very conflicting. Of course, how it should be is Amarr are the best armor buffer tanks and Gallente are the best armor repping tanks, but how exactly do we do that in Dust as both plates and reps are fit to low slots and there is nothing currently to encourage Gallente to go with more reps and Amarr to go with more plates?

Why not give gal heavies more armor regen on their suits? It would have to be a pretty big number to be significant in actual combat comparable to shield regen of other heavies.

You have to understand how slow that suit is going to be. It already has the slowest base speed, with 20% additional speed penalty. If someone is stupid enough to use a 4 complex plate setup on their Amsent, I say let them do so.

I was thinking rep mods first but that would open a new can of worms bring in all the others suits,we cant do that.

Kind of annoyed by this change, because the Amarr Sentinel's resistance to Rail Rifles is shield based. Also the Ability to be good with both the FG and HMG.
Then again, I always loved my armor tanked ships with hybrid rails

You should really find out if it's possible to create a section on the forums restricted to certain players (maybe a certain like count or play time?)
Or just making a white list of players who already are known to provide valueable feedback.
I guess that's kinda what the CPM is designed for, but I'm started to get really annoyed by all these players assuming the wrong things, or just reacting without reading -_-
It's because of these viewpoints that we can never come to an agreement on subjects like this. Instead of providing valuable feedback, they are spamming the forums with unecessary threads that push us even more off subject. It's so hard to find the valuable stuff from the worthless pieces.
