YES, NERF THE CALD SCOUTS. WHY? BECAUSE THEY ARE ABUSED.

Is it because i can see everything down to about 4 db at aprox 52 m why is that broken when i run that fit? I have 162 shields and about 86 armour so 4 or 5 direct hits from just about any wepon will kill me strait up. I give up my tank so i can scan its not my fault that other players suck and cant take me fown before i kill them The cal scout is one of the few suits that actually perform it's function well i. E. I cant drag a bunch of fattys to help me hack an objective can I? but you can drag a bunch of fattys to help you camp it and light me up so they can kill me every time I come within 50 meters huh? :) THATS WHY its getting nerfed not because of just you because of EVERYONE ELSE around you you see they mentioned passive scans shared with squad in Charlie update

Active scans fit on any suit with an equipment slot, have improved range & can bank you some points. I expect that hotfix charlie is going to bring back the days of "you have been scanned" being burned into my tv. 300 ehp with a little heads up before you start taking fire is about as OP as a 1100 ehp with a hmg. One can plan how to attack before initiating but will fall quick, the other has no prewarning but can take sustained fire and return damage quite quickly. So try again. And yes if i give up all of my tank mods so I can see everything that is my perogative you have obviously had a few bad experiences and now feel the need to share them that's your perogative but don't hammer a playstyle that was designed to be the hard counter to what you do . Just well get good I suppose. I'll also try to put this more clearly I think your hatred isn't the cal scouts bonus it's the passive shared scans I'm not sure what I think of shared passive scans but I think that's your problem. So when it first came out I was running around in it. Of course people figured out all the perks and it has become FOTM, as everyone started whining more I just stopped using it. I have enough people hating me as a dropship pilot, don't need that greif. Anyway I'm looking forward to the cal scout changes, and I'm looking forward to re fitting it and making two different roles. Just wanted to let you know there are some people who went cal scout before the hype and just love all things caldari, or shields work for their play style, we aren't all FOTM tryhards

Yes , any scout can do it, but nowhere near as well. Not to mention it can do that at STD, 1 complex range amp and 2-3 scan at amps(again, the STD suit does this) can see any suit from up to 50 meters. The amarr will be able to see further then the current caldari because of the 4 low slots and more then likely it will have the same precision as a typical caldari build depending on percentage that ccp will implement for hot fix Charlie for passive bonus. If CCP reduces the percentage from the current caldari passive bonus to the amarr scout, gallente scouts will be able to do more with less damps on the lows making them even more powerful then a current complete evasive build. You will reap what you sow. Removing shared passive scans for squad is truly the best way to balance the scouts out, otherwise it will be an endless cycle. They couldn't see me since I went with a max dampened suit But when they are fully decked out with scan mods and in a six man crew of proto bears. Nothing to do but run if I'm solo.... or even if I'm with a few buddies. Having 6 gallente scouts fully dampened be the viable counter to 1 caldari scout and 5 other dudes in his squad with no fitting constraints = broken. Double posting like a Kaiser.
