Can you come up with a better argument than "it kills me so it needs to be nerfed"? Not saying cal scouts are the definitive symbol of balance, but argue with your head, not your heart.

So is the issue with ewar/tacnet then? Yes, passives are always running but with limited range and no wp for the intel kills. Active scans fit on any suit with an equipment slot, have improved range & can bank you some points. I expect that hotfix charlie is going to bring back the days of "you have been scanned" being burned into my tv.
300 ehp with a little heads up before you start taking fire is about as OP as a 1100 ehp with a hmg. One can plan how to attack before initiating but will fall quick, the other has no prewarning but can take sustained fire and return damage quite quickly.
Running proto gear is not a cal scout specific issue.

Sounds like you have trouble adapting to an ever-changing battlefield environment. They have a job just for you, sniping. Feel free to sit inthe redline doing jack while others find solutions to their problems. Do i get mad when i lose a bunch of scout suits to tanks/ADS? No, i get my militia AV fit out & fight back.
