Actually they are making them better for hunting everything else then other scout suits. You get ridiculous scan range and on top of that you even receive profile dampening. Basically the caldari scout will become like the old gallente scout in its prime.

You know for a fact you proto your cald out run around with a shotgun or some fourm of proto weapon and slay anything around you with the advantage of knowing its everymove AS it is making it. You know wither to chase or to retreat. To camp or to attack. and this isn't just on high DB out put suits this is on EVERYONE. EVEN suits that are trying to make a difference on that battlefields which are the scouts.

There is no reason I should have to replace my hacking mods on my miny scout with dampeners to get away from your little punk slayer play style and we all know it. Most of the time you call it "scout hunting" buts its actually "slaying"

You cald scouts are eathir hunting down scouts or hunting down milita and starter suties or genrally anything with low health which accounts for 75% of all suites on the battle field and running away from fat suites.

ok so my c1 series cal scout with 3 complex precision enhancers and 2 complex range amps combined with my rail rifle is broken why ? Is it because i can see everything down to about 4 db at aprox 52 m why is that broken when i run that fit? I have 162 shields and about 86 armour so 4 or 5 direct hits from just about any wepon will kill me strait up. I give up my tank so i can scan its not my fault that other players suck and cant take me fown before i kill them

you could have 1 shield and 1 armor for all I care with pure advantage for you AND YOUR SQUAD of know where everyone is 24/y screw that you don't perform better by yourself like my minmatar does you perform better with a decked out squad with you. I cant drag a bunch of fattys to help me hack an objective can I? but you can drag a bunch of fattys to help you camp it and light me up so they can kill me every time I come within 50 meters huh? :) THATS WHY its getting nerfed not because of just you because of EVERYONE ELSE around you you see they mentioned passive scans shared with squad in Charlie update

So is the issue with ewar/tacnet then? Yes, passives are always running but with limited range and no wp for the intel kills. Active scans fit on any suit with an equipment slot, have improved range & can bank you some points. I expect that hotfix charlie is going to bring back the days of "you have been scanned" being burned into my tv.

300 ehp with a little heads up before you start taking fire is about as OP as a 1100 ehp with a hmg. One can plan how to attack before initiating but will fall quick, the other has no prewarning but can take sustained fire and return damage quite quickly.

Running proto gear is not a cal scout specific issue.

sigh iv been running solo pretty much since the launch of 1.8 as most of my corp mates have stopped playing. So try again. And yes if i give up all of my tank mods so I can see everything that is my perogative you have obviously had a few bad experiences and now feel the need to share them that's your perogative but don't hammer a playstyle that was designed to be the hard counter to what you do . Just well get good I suppose. I'll also try to put this more clearly I think your hatred isn't the cal scouts bonus it's the passive shared scans I'm not sure what I think of shared passive scans but I think that's your problem. The cal scout is supposed to be counter espionage that's it's/ my job when running cal scout.

Point Nr 2. goes for all scouts. Keep it real

I speced cal scout because I wanted to be a caldari scout. So when it first came out I was running around in it. Of course people figured out all the perks and it has become FOTM, as everyone started whining more I just stopped using it. I have enough people hating me as a dropship pilot, don't need that greif.
Anyway I'm looking forward to the cal scout changes, and I'm looking forward to re fitting it and making two different roles. Just wanted to let you know there are some people who went cal scout before the hype and just love all things caldari, or shields work for their play style, we aren't all FOTM tryhards

No my hatred is having to replace my hacking mods with dampeners to conteract your slaying play style (and the cald scout beings shield regin imedtly after you stop shotting it so don't act like it isn't a combat scout)

The fact that I have to brake out of what my scout it for just to play isn't worth playing at all and that why I leave 50% of the games I play on this character and end up going tank and slaughtering everything.
