          I've read alot about brink tanked scouts let alone faced them in the field. I totally agree with most players that the scout should not be bricktanked, but fitted with at least some EWAR. What if scouts had a "EWAR" slot. Something along these lines
  Cal: 1 High EWAR Gal: 1 Low EWAR Min: 1 Low EWAR Amar: 1 Low EWAR
  Now before the flaming starts, just spitballing here. Please discuss. I'm curious to see the different opinions on it. |

  As a reference I used 3 low slots to brick tank is a repper and 2 plates. The raw HP tank is in the low slot because of the armor plates having high hp. So all scouts with more than 2 low get their EWAR in the low to prevent armor tank. that way all suits will have almost the same amount of HP total with dual tank. It's not flawless but should be a start. Again, I would like your opinions.

  The issue with that is that Armour is *supposed* to have higher HP, but its regen is much slower, even maxed out. Making Shields/Armour have the same (or roughly the same) EHP means that Shields are king. 
  The EWar slot is a nice idea, but the better way to balance it is to incentivise EWar module use: make the bonuses affect the efficacy of EWar modules, so no benefits are actually gained unless slots are sacrificed.
  This has already been suggested and taken (mostly) on board by Rattati. We'll see it down the line. |

  Read this thread, along with the Scanning table in post 3
  That should explain some of the changes that are being put in place to cut down on brick tanking. 
  By reducing the passive abilities, and making scouts HAVE to use slots to get eWAR, it cuts down on brick tanking. 
  No need for eWAR slots.

          The best solution (and the most practical) would be making HP modules yield % values as opposed to solid HP values.

          Or you could make eWar mods better for scouts than HP.....
 "Minmitar Scout" and "Masochist" are synonyms.
