Congratulations. You have now made it as far as post #3 in this thread.
Look kid, you're like what, 16?
Let's make an analogy. You're a truck driver and your regular route is 3000 miles. Your boss comes to you and tells you that he's going to add 1500 miles to your route, but he wants you to do it in the same amount of time and use the same amount of gas. You'd look at him like he's crazy.
Essentially, that's what's happening here. Match time did not increase, and neither did ammo, but HP did. So let's keep everything in proportion. I'm sure you're probably familiar with similar geometries by now and keeping things in proportion. Well, what is happening is that one of our quantities is growing out of proportion with the other two.
I am voicing a personal need. That is all. If nobody else agrees, then it won't happen. If other people get on and commiserate with me, most likely, nothing will still happen. But on that slight chance that there is intelligent life listening for a signal, just maybe, just maybe, some DEV will bump ammo capacity skills by another 25% or something. Ya know. Or perhaps, they could make supply depots indestructible. The possibilities are endless. I don't know what the DEVs will do with this info, and I didn't offer a solution. I just said, "I'm running out of ammo due to having more heavies in play now. Can ya help a brother out?"

And now you're trying to demean me by assuming I'm a teenager? Get off your high horse and understand that your issue is personal: the use of supply depots is part and parcel of the game; same for Logistics, who've spent SP to support the team - what is the point of the Logi if there's no need to support anyone.
as I said, if you actually want to facilitate any kind of change, you should look into actual numbers. You call it tedium: CCP calls it balancing. Numbers are an intrinsic part of the game, and if you cannot be bothered to crunch some, you should really just avoid posting in the Feedback section.
Edit: I forgot to mention: what I've been trying to do is actually get some proper feedback from you instead of entirely anecdotal evidence. Anecdotes do not beget change, and all you've been doing is complaining that you might have to pause killing for a minute to go get some more ammo/hives. Is that really that hard?

Crunching numbers is futile at the player level. I don't know the actual coefficients and factors that are applied to the calculations behind the scene. They would have to be calculated on a case by case basis. That is a developer's job. It's for someone who knows the details of how the system works and can run simulations.
As a player, all I have is anecdotal evidence. It's not like the log of calculations that were applied during battle are available to us. What you're asking for happens at debug time. I don't have enough information to calculate what is happening on the field. I only have the fact that I'm running out of ammo more now than I was before there were heavies everywhere.
