so what is going on with this? I have myself noticed a marked difference between the boundless and the mh-82. and it does not seem better! seriously.
I got melted by somebody using the mh against me and I noticed that my own boundless didn't do the damage that the other guys did do. so I looked into it...
sure enough my own boundless was outclassed by the mh in my own hands too.
wtf?
is this a hit detection issue on the boundless?
I have asked around some disagree but a lot do agree with me. |

Thanks for replying, I agree the damage that's labelled shouldn't be noticeable.
but it was noticeable, in the wrong direction. I actually ran it for about half a day in case it was due to weaker opponents. then went back to my boundless, same thing. it seems to perform the same as my boundless when it has 3 damage mods equipped, but without the need for damage mods
it could be a hit detection issue if more of the bullets are hitting on the mh...
I find it a bit puzzling. |

JUST TO BE CLEAR.
I run a calsent heavy BELIEVE me, in no way do I want a heavy nerf. I'm not even happy with the slight nerf were getting in Charlie.
I'm an average heavy, I manage to go positive and normally am within top 7 or so
it could very easily be that I just came upon a very good heavy (the round that made me question this guy went 85-4. fair play to him)
followed by some bad blueberries on the morning I played with the mh, but it seemed to me like the boundless didn't do the damage it should.

o.k
I assume then that nobody else has noticed this effect, so it's either issues for me so put in a ticket, or it's a case of my imagination in which case ignore it. |

I'll try to answer everybody being helpful here,
yes I am maxed out on proficiency hmg, I'm also aware that my calsent wouldn't be as good in sustained fire as gallente etc, I did use the same fit and only changed the hmg, it was what I wanted to find out after all.
the heavy I was against when I noticed the difference was way better than me, I am definitely an average heavy, it's my secondary role which I only do for fun and according to the map, I'm under no disillusion about my prowess, lol
but I noticed the difference on my own fit too, the mh seems to do more damage, it is possible that it's circumstantial illusion, after all the difference between them is minimal, against weaker enemies etc.... but I did run it for a full morning and I wasn't coming up against the same people over and over.
thanks for the spool tip, I do forget to do that. |

yeah, that's what I'm thinking, but with this game wasn't sure if it was just hit detection. |
