Date: July 16, 2014 Time: 2:00 PM CDT - Preset Server: America Problem: Rubberbanding lag. I missed a kill because this lag was so bad. Very upsetting. I almost threw up. Connection Speed: ~23Mbps Jitter: < 1ms Warning: Destiny Beta comes out tomorrow. I will definitely try it if this server lag trend continues.

While this may seem like a helpful task, it really does not do anything. All it tells them is that yep, a player is lagging for one of the hundreds of thousand reasons out there.
If you would like to really know why you are lagging, run a trace route to the tranquility servers.
You will more than likely find out it has absolutely nothing to do with Dust and everything to do with the network between. Not a thing you or CCP can do about it.
Once you hit the Euro Ring everything pretty muchly gets f'd up. |

1. It's humorous 2. I thought if it caught on and everyone started logging lag here, then CCP might look into a distributed server architecture. 3. It was something to do.
Thanks for taking the time to completely shoot this idea down.

Once you hit the Euro Ring everything pretty muchly gets f'd up. Actually this is quite helpful, it helps CCP locate the problems, and from this info their able to see your ping times at the moments of lag, if it WAS a server problem, if it was a client problem. And it can give some helpful into on if what you may be doing at the time that was causing it.
