Alright, so currently, the poor ol' logi's get a bonus to a single piece of equipment. Not fair right? Well what if they got bonuses across the board? (Some may not be applicable to all, but still)
So, for example, equipment used by the Caldari works from further away, rep tools have more range, Nano's have a larger radius etc.
Amarr could make them work for longer, so things like more spawns for a pad and more nanites in a hive, scanners leave the enemy lit up for longer and all that jazz.
Minmatar could make it work quicker, faster spawn times, faster cooldowns, these type of things.
Gallente...I'm not sure with this one, I was thinking "better" so more precision on scans, more ammo per tick and mroe health from a needle, but I'm not sure how well that would work.
Ideas?

Maybe Gallente equipment has higher HP so it is more difficult to destroy? Not sure how rep tools and scanners could be affected..

Well either way it'd be a bump up from just a bonus to one equipment. Though I think it best to work in racial equipment receiving the bonus too. Also, considering the ongoing Ewar discussion, I think it best for the Gallente to keep the bonus to scan precision as it's a major point in the discussion, hence why is suggested "better." Better scans, better repair, more ammo restored per tick? That kind of thing perhaps.

Equipments should be buffed to their previous levels (except scanners they need a total rework), logi should get racial bonus to improve their survivability, a dead logi can't help anyone, equipment slots should be mandatory, if you pick logi, you have to play logi, with this and a the incoming buff to assault suits, people will be discouraged to use logi as slayers.
Caldari: a bonus on shield extenders HP Gallente: a bonus on reppers efficiency Amarr: a bonu on plates HP Minmatar: a bonus on shield recharge and shield delay modules
All should have at least 1 HP armor regen.

There was a thread similar to this a while back, hell if I'm digging it out though.
In it they proposed each race keep their primary equipment bonuses, with lower ones for other races equipment. So GalLogi will get same scanner bonus, along with 3% (or whatever) to the other races' equipment per level.
This way every Logi gets to benefit from all equipment, without being "penalised" by a singular bonus on racial equipment. Making it like this may also discourage Logi-Scouts, as actual Logistics will excel in their role of support/force multiplier (not that they don't already).

Really, I just want logi's to have bonuses to the majority of equipment one way or another, rather than shoe horned into one. Personally, I'd prefer for each logi to make the equipment "better" in different ways. But either way, I'd be happy with logi's getting more choice in equipment.

Not more than a wallhack scout (i've been in both the roles, so i know). CCP should close more doors in my opinion, want to play as logi? Must fit your equipment slots, afterall it's your choice, nodoby forces you to play logi if you like to slay. Want to slay? Go assault or heavy, probably not totally in Charlie, but assault will be reworked, i hope Rattati will make a good job with them.
This is my opinion, you have to be free to do what you want to do, within the limitation of your class and then suit.

This is my opinion, you have to be free to do what you want to do, within the limitation of your class and then suit. Fair point. But what if someone just filled the slots with the lowest fitting cost standard equipment on a proto suit with the rest of the fit effectively being a "slayer" fit?

This is were Rattati have to do a great job, assault class must have an edge on slayer logi fits with 4 compact hives. BTW those bonus are indicative, i'm sure someone else can think about more appropriate bonuses, i just don't like bonus on equipments because they does not really give an edge on logi over another.
I mean, Caldari have better hives, but i would not certainly spend 2.5 million SP to get 10 more HP rep and 20 more bullets or to get 4 less second on spawn, if i already have another logi. With bonus on equipments the difference should be more marked, otherwise you change the bonus on equipments and give it to something else.

(Where applicable) It would be difficult to give more marked difference on equipments, nerf equipments would not be cool, they are almost fine now, on all the logi (even without bonus), nerf them would make them UP if not specialized on it. Increase the bonus would not be a great solution too, the bonus would make the equipment OP on the interested logi.
That is why i suggest to leave equipments alone and give another kind of bonus to logi suits.

What Slayer Logis Want:
To move like an Assault. To hit harder than any Assault. To have more HP than any Assault (and some Heavies). To also have room for lots of EQ, just in case someone needs "support" or an orbital.

The best work in progress post about this right now was done by Pokey Dravon. It should be somewhere around here, i'll edit this post when I can link to it. He's got a nice spreadsheet for skills and such to round out all Logistics suits as support suits.
I prefer the easy way of just giving the suits half-round down of what everyone else has.

I like the multiple bonus idea, but it's a unnecessary complication, at that point it would be easier for CCP to re-buff all equipments and don't give bonus for them to logi (except fitting bonus of course). I like the proposed bonus to the modules, but i would give a bonus on both shield recharge and shield control to the minmatar and a bonus on shield extender HP to the caldari.
