Our current round based battle sytem is horrible for garnering a sandbox experiance, we needto move away from this system of generating random pvp battles and start to work on the actual sandbox framework this game is supposed to have. The best way to do this would be to open up either high or low security space districts as interconnected open free roam areas that players can come and go from as they please. this will require a different aproach to map design
A planets districts should all be connected to alow transition from one district to another through points placed on the map, similar to solar systems in eve, on a planet by planet basis even though the maps are limited they could be fitted together diferent ways on diferent planets. Some mas should focus more on the pve aspect of the game and others could be more focusedon pvp and some could be a mix of the two, this would provide awesome fw and pc experiences aswell as a good npe beginners. |

we need this more than we need a whole new game remade with similar ip, dust is already working and has players, it has a basic micro-transaction market that will make money if ccp would just make the effort to take this game out of beta create the open sandbox system we deserve with a focus on the npe and new players will actually stick around to spend money on this game instead of quiting afte rthe 10th or 15th proto-stomp. whats it going to take? |

im going to bump this again just to remind the devs of a different approach to how a true sandbox fps should work just incase they decide rouge is full of shlt and restart development of dust |
