When can we get the delay that was supposed to be implemented to give a delay from the time you cloak to the time you can shoot?

So it seems that to get something fixed these days there has to be enough qq on the forums to have it looked at. See the Dev comment on this here

I just assumed like many others that this issue was discussed in complete depth and we were told it would be fixed, then it got pulled off the hotfix for some reason, and we were just waiting for it to be rolled out
After reading Rattati comments it seems we have to flood the forums again to get this promised fix back on the list. |

Lol at your confusion. I suppose this is the way you deflect the argument. I know you use this to great advantage having played you many times, and I suppose this is the way you want to defend it?
As a future CPM (yes I voted for you) I hope you consider things that you use with an open mind and not use the CPM platform to lobby for things that you like and use only.
Now please tell me again how this is good for the game? It was discussed in great detail and we were even told is was going to be fixed, and yet it has not.
P.s "always kill them".... OK

OK I think his point is that for them to shoot you, they had to sneak up on you so whether or not they were cloaked when they shot you is irrelevant.
A free alpha shot from an invisible position was supposed to be delayed until a full decloak animation and a delayed shot fired. And lol " they had to sneak up you" while they are invisible does factor into the free alpha shot while being cloaked.
What you two are trying to say I suppose is to get good and be able to see a stationary cloaked Scott while in the middle of a fire fight shoot you then decloak?
Scouts will try to keep this broken mechanic I suppose.

If the player didn't see you sneak up on him, a mere full decloak before blasting him won't change anything. He's still a dead mercenary. Have you ever survived a gunfight by one or two shots ??? I think that does make a difference . You get a stealth bonus on top of the e-war set up if your using a advanced or proto cloak , so if you know that and slack on equipping yourself I might just be able to see you when you de-cloak so that gives me a chance to retaliate , where this glitch just leads to you looking up a the kill feed wondering who and what just killed you . In both scenarios, it doesn't matter if he got the shot off while cloaked. It makes no significant difference to the 1 on 1 firefight. Beating a scout is about awareness. If you're not aware in the first place, more than likely you will die. A cloaked scout running towards you is the most obvious thing you can see if you're paying attention, nullifying the argument of getting a shot off before decloaking. priority.
So it seems you agree if it doesn't matter if the shot was gotten off with or without the cloak, so then remove the ability to get the shot off while cloaked.
Because it is a very crappy mechanic that makes the whole game feel cheap and simply should be fixed. |
