The main problem with scouts is the ability to consecutively attack over and over.
My response? Screw scouts! Assaults should do that!
And before you say "but scouts need their regen". No they don't they need stealth to assassinate,not regeneration to go face-to-face. If you're a scout and you're charging at an enemies front,you're doing it wrong.
"Scout have less eHP so they should regenerate faster". Lolno,if less eHP means faster regeneration then why isn't logistics #2 in it,seeing as logistics has only about 30 more eHP than their scout counterpart?

I agree.
Giving assaults high regen favours constant aggression with them, which fits their role perfectly. Giving scouts high regen focuses them more towards straight combat.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

Mediums need to have medium everything. Medium health medium speed medium profile etc. And they need most CPU/PG and slots. As of now they need more starting health nothing much though. They do really badly need an extra top slot i.e. extra low on the Galsault. Mediums having high regen? That isn't justified by the frame size.

Assaults aren't logistics and shouldn't try to be.
That and logistics base stats are much lower and it wouldn't be right to screw over logistics completely like that.

Give them +1 grenade, the equivalent ammo increase of going from MLT to STD and a faster weapon switch.
Allow assaults to pour on more firepower but don't increase eHP. Maybe only allow assaults to have assault version rifles.

Regeneration is really a trait of main combat units.
If you use stealth and scanning, your chances of getting damaged are far, far slimmer than those of an assault.

nothing good can be done for assaults until legion. they should have some sort of active module like a vehicle does but exclusive to assualts. some ideas picthed were jumpjets, active hardeners or active speed modules..

Scouts are for infiltration. Light, fast and stealthy. You jump in, kill a bad guy & retreat and repeat. Scouts gets hurt (which is almost all thier hp), they need fast regen to keep going.
Regen rate is dedicated by role/suit not HP pool.
Assault need good role bonus. Which is hard to be done because what universal bonus should be good? Thats not that easy. Stop trying to make from them best slayers etc. Thats not the deal.

take the ancient concept of commander suit and apply it to assault, assaults would buff each other by proximity but a stacking penalty does apply so after so many assaults in proximity the bonus is nil

So where do i write scouts are best slayers? Nowhere.
Still, id much prefer bonuses that rewards if you use them,not just easy passives. And we dont have such a thing.
Eg : Higher multiplier for headshots, different dmg % at different suit parts (torso,legs etc)

That's another thing that should change since they are the biggest and weakest targets on the battle field .
You would think that CCP would have given the infantry refund that should have been in 1.8.

I agree, however we need to be specific on what regen means here. Regen for Assaults means, faster regen shield/armor, where scouts should be regen on stamina.
"One does not simply" run like a Raptor. Only mk.0 Scouts do that.
