If you had to build a 6 man squad full of "hard counters" for the current, and some still surviving bs tactics people use in this game, how would you go about it? What's the ideal roster to be able to stop these fotm mongers dead in their tracks?

Perhaps not a strict FotM counter, but I've always wanted to see a squad of 2 ADSs with heavies and/or a logi riding along and hopping out to hack points or kill people.

Probably Cal/GalScouts and Heavy/Logis.
Maybe two scouts and two heavy/logis?
And maybe we could stick them all in tanks and ADSes at first.

i've been pulling out my Amarr assault with scram rifle more and more in PC's everyone running around in there cal scouts they drop so easily... :D

2 sentinals with a side arm damage mod or two, ADV/Proto Magsec Side Arm, ADV/Proto Forge
2 min scouts, 2 complex dampeners, 1 enhanced kinkat, 3 complex shield extenders, proto light weapon of choice (ScP/ScR/Shotgun), proto uplink, adv injectors
2 Amarr logies, 3 complex precision enhancers, 1 complex range amp, 1 complex armor plate, 1 enhanced armor plate, dual honed rep tool, proto uplink, injector on 1 and armor reps, ammo reps, and proto uplink on the other
Sentinals keep lav's, DS's, ADS's, and tanks away/at bay. If infantry gets heavy they throw their flux and finish the rest with magsec.
Min scouts work together on hacks, stay under cal radar and can escape quickly and drop an uplink on a losing battle to get reinforcements
Amarr logis can have the super fast spawns for the Heavies. Heavies should be brick tanked out. I run this exact forge fit with my Adv Amarr Sentinal to massive success in one on ones against other heavies with proto HMG's. The flux does all of the serious work. The magsec just does the rest.
You can see how the uplinks will help. Everyone runs flux to destroy equipment and shields on everything so that the heavies can maximize effort.
This is my ideal set up...even for PC I would do something like this.

was about to say the same thing, i sometimes get a full incubus-1 gunner, 3 hotdroppers, i usually only play when they're on
we do hotdrops and overwatch then extract and move on
sometimes i have an overflow of ppl i know that have already done a lot hotdrops and they have to take lav instead, if you wanna try it out sometime

Two sentinels, one logi, a cal scout, a commando, and an assault. Why an assault class you ask? Excellent question dear merc! FOTMers can't resist the urge an easy kill that is the assault class. Here is what you do:
-You take the assault and chain him to a pole. Ignore his cries for help and mercy.
-Have the cal scout cloak and just sit there and watch him.
-When the cal scout detects FOTMers advancing on the assault, have cal scout point them out to rest of squad.
-Squad kills FOTMers.
-Rinse and repeat.
*If the assault some how gets loose, catch him, break his legs, and chain him up again.
