after fiascofest 14 i no longer harbor any faith in any group ccp forces to sign an nda.
as long as theyre not being completely transparent i have no interest interacting with any of them and as far as im concerned theyre not in any position of value. cpm means nothing.
essentially i refuse to participate in a system thats not in the best interest of the community, also im no longer actively playing the game right now so theres no reason for me to vote anyway.

if you choose not to vote keep in mind that there will be a CPM 1, whether you vote or not. Some people are voting, so there are going to be seven people that get some votes. If you choose not to vote then you are letting other people choose who those seven people will be.
I support the right we all have to boycott the CPM election. No-one should support an institution they feel to be a poor one. But if you do not vote just remember that if the group is made of people you really disagree with, then you missed your chance to contribute to the profile of the CPM.
Perhaps though, we can get the CPM disbanded if the turn out is so poor that It could be argued that the group is so badly non-representative that it does not serve it's function as a player representative group. Perhaps we should force CCP to tell us what percentage of the players voted, and if its say, only 10% (or 12% - 25% whatever) we can push to have it nullified.

I can vouch for this too.. More often than not when i'm on, judge is on the ground and since he's usually the slowest of the group in his suit, i can keep up with him as my logi.. so i'm usually behind judge supporting and keeping him alive. :) |

I don't care a lot, as long as a dev come to the forums and ask for feedback and then put results in the game, there is no need for a CPM.
Between troll posts there is quality feedback and people don't need to be in the CPM to give their.

I did do one recently on the cloak. I focus on dropships more, as there are many, like Ghazabaran, and Moody, doing a great job for ground troops. Is anyone else doing dropships? You'll see I did swarms too, from the ground and also a way for ground troops to request help from vehicles.
Look at my videos. The way I tackle the issues in the ones i have released, is exactly how I tackle all topics in the game. I cannot turn off my brain when I see the current rail rifle hit detection issue.

Since you did swarms specifically from the ground... I'd like to request you do swarms, from on top of a dropship, lol... I saw someone using a plasma cannon from one once, that was great, but I did land on him (without dealing any damage to the dropship.) |

Because most either all ready have one, hense EvE conections, or will end up getting one, CCP have Valkyrie as well as legion, do you think the dev's will seriously give dust the same amount of attention as EvE, Legion and Valkyrie concidering fw and pc are dead? Hmm interesting

Even if Dust remains as it is I'm happy to continue playing, it's better than all the other shooters currently available on the ps3, I certainly can't afford an expensive pc and don't really like pc gaming anyway, I'm sure there are many out of there who share the same opinion as me. Dust is a great game and will continue to improve with hotfix's and possible client side updates in the future. |

A vote for CPM is a vote for CCP anyways
CPM never represented the community and were happy for the rouge wedding to take place except caz
The current list of candidates are full of yes men and nonfactors who i have never heard of or are just terrible at the game and have rarely played PC let alone seen in game
I wish i had 7 dislike votes if anything so i could take away 1 vote from terrible candidates but i feel that i will have to not vote at all because who ever wins the community loses
Frankly i would say that CPM1 cant be any worse than CPM0 but really they wont be any better anyways so expect more of the same |

People come and go, I'll give them a wave goodbye as they leave, with 80 million ps3 units sold worldwide I don't think we're going to have a shortage of new players any time soon. |

I for one am basically quitting dust, so whatever happens to it isn't important to me. I've been on this rollercoaster for way too long now, and I feel like the game is just way too young and incomplete to benefit from a player council. If anything, CCP should hire a focus team of experts and set up all sorts of channels with players through them.
I wish everyone the best of luck, but I can't bring myself to get involved with something I have no faith in.
