This, big time. I started logi, and played for months that way. Then I became heavy on an alt, and played months that way. Then I had a 3rd alt, and when the suit respec came, I put it all into scout.
Whenever I got sick of the game, I switched playstyles, and had to learn an entirely different way to win games and make kills. It's kept my interest so far. I created a 4th alt a number of months ago, and when I get sick of all this, I'll probably go ADS or commando, or something.
Gotta change things up every few months or so.

Yeah, but see, that's the point. I do extremely well as logistics, and suck an enormous horse **** when playing scout. So I started playing scout intentionally, because it requires a completely different mindset.
As logi, I was never afraid to be on the front lines supporting the assaults and heavies, and when I tried to do the same thing as scout -- take everybody head on -- I died with embarrassing regularity. And so for the first time in the game, I actually had to learn to be sneaky -- flanking, getting people from behind, etc. I even had to start learning when to simply run away -- not learning how to run behind cover or use it effectively, cause I already knew that, but just recognizing when I was outmatched, and deciding instead to run completely away from that engagement, and attempt to create an opportunity for another more favorable to me.
That's what's keep this game alive for me anyway. Having to learn how to play in a style that I have no familiarity with.
