Point is, if you are fighting, and while dodging and running around, you hit a ladder; you have the issue that you will put your weapon away (because you need hands to use ladders). Obvious conflict-free solution is to allow automatic or manual ladder mounting. Shofixti beats an Ur-Quan Dreadnought and a Kor-Ah Marauder.

So what your saying is no? Ok, fair point on the sentinel suit - how about a compromise? Heavy suits don't get this ability, they stick with inertial dampeners. Would give more diversity to roles and still look cool with the particle effects that CCP want to implement...... Actually I like this idea way more that my original! Good stuff!!
