And I would have died many more times by snipers if I wasn't close to cover. So now for the majority of this event I am stocking up on ADS and will be hunting sniper exclusively. You redline bitches have killed me from your safezone for the last time. Gun control is not about guns...it's about control. The only way to ensure freedom is by having the means to defend it.

But the second shot is hitting almost before you can react to the first shoot. The main issue I have with snipers is they are able to kill in safety. It is a BS mechanic and CCP needs to address this issue at some point. The only counter to these dbags is tons of SP sunk into sniper rifles or the willingness to suicide just to kill them. It is so fuking stupid and its been going on since beta. My faith in CCP fixing this broke ass game or making Legion better continues to sink. Gun control is not about guns...it's about control. I was in a match with him earlier (Fractured Road Domination - I know this cos he wrecked me in his Commando) and we had a Thale sniper taking potshots on the point (on my team, not his). Yes, that was my first match this morning. That thales killed my commando twice because I was defending the letter and in the open. After the second death I had to call in an incubis, fly up to the red mcc and kill that mofo. I almost died to redline timer because I was enjoying watching his corpse rag doll off the mcc. I'm pretty sure he was back on the mcc within a few minutes, but by then I switched to scout and didn't get snipped again. Gun control is not about guns...it's about control. Go hunt them, as you say you will. It's what I do - I love the mad dashes into the redline. Of course not all snipers (like me when I chose to do it) hide in the redline. We move around in the engagement areas. Also, it's just a game. Why bother getting angry?

If you are getting OHK, then you are standing still and letting them get a nice solid headshot kill on you. or they have skills to hit a moving target. So you should be angry at yourself, or you should be admiring their skill and go up against them shot for shot and/or find and shoot them in the face close up. Either way, behave a bit more maturely and the world will be a better place.

Well this may be from experience (where and when I shall not mention, but not in Dust), but...I've always defeated people with one bullet while using a sniper. But I shoot them twice, so they don't get back up and haunt me for the rest of my life. I wallow in pools of blood and wash myself anew, I throw away my ugly self in order to become something beautiful...

However, you also forgot to mention the 3rd option, which is hunting and killing the Sniper. If you do not take the initiative to do so, then the Sniper deserves to relentlessly kill an entire team in the same sense that an HAV can (will, and should) relentlessly murder an entire team if they refuse to use AV weapons. @Cat Merc That's not entirely true, as at any point in time a Sniper can be killed by those weapons as well (unless they're in the redline, which is an issue of Redline Mechanics, not the Sniper Rifle). @Arkena Wyrnspire If "not traveling in an open area" is a problem, then why not hunt down and kill the Sniper? As for having LOS on an Objective Terminal from the redline, that's a problem with Redline Mechanics, not the Sniper Rifle itself. Am I posting in a stealth "nerf Snipers for killing me within their niche" thread? If so, then please excuse me, as I need to replace the ass I just laughed off.
