Oceania is not going to be watched carefully so the boosting will go by undetected.

So to expand the explanation

By eliminating the choice to change servers we avoid farmers. No one will have any issues since the automatic setting will choose the best server with the best ping/fights ratio. It does not segregate any demographic since they will play the matches that are optimal for them. If we permit a choice, players; asians not implied in any way as the quote suggests, will abuse any server that they can find with the least population at the time of farming. Oceania was only used as a reference since it is a popular choice for farming but is not specifically established as the culprit for such practices.

Rest assured boosting can be monitored due to how points are achieved in an unusual manner. And for such a event, you can see the difference between who's boosting and who is not.

Keeping your nose clean only applies when it doesn't directly affect you, in this case it directly affects everyone trying to hit the goal. So in other words you are not keeping your nose clean by getting in everyone's business.

EDIT: BTW I am not calling CCP idiots. Farming happens and has happened in previous events. I have heard from farmers themselves. So no I am not calling CCP idiots I am saying they should moniter this event a lot closer than others since it will have a greater impact on the face of the game than some other events done. Naming a weapon will stay in the game forever, it's not like handing out 300 proto suits or weapons.
