DirectX 11 is required. They are hush hush on anything else though and I don't blame them - we are probably a few years away and they don't want people getting pissed if they buy something that can no longer support the game. |

Sin,bro, bro bro, If I were you, I'd go off of a decently demanding game that came out just recently, find a build that can run it decently, and go with that. |

Safest bet is to have it run at similar specs as the current gen consoles. Since we're in a transition period it's safe to assume PS4 would be more than enough. Graphics will only be as good as you are willing to invest.

I built mine with Star Citizen in mind though this game won't be as demanding.
i5 4670 cpu w/ Corsair H60 watercooler 16 GB 2600 RAM MSI Mpower motherboard 850 watt PSU
All that cost me about $760.
My vid card is just a GTX 550 that I got free from a friend (plays BF4 on medium). I want a GTX 780 and a second one to SLI. I'd also like a SSD or two.
I hope that'll run SC at max.

Thing is, we don't know yet. It's not "hush hush" as in we are trying to keep secrets, but simply that we can't say just yet because we are still working so much on different aspects of the game. When we know, you'll know

I have known many to use water coolers.
So you want by our PC to inevitably break and overheat then?.
Iv seen them come custom built and seen buddies custom build with those and they break or malfunction quick.
Don't tell me your an expert either because that doesn't improve the life span of them, I strongly suggest you change that.
Peace.

It gets pretty hot in my room. During the summer my old PC wouldn't even stay on for more than a few minutes and it wasn't even OC'd. So I went with the H60 when I upgraded. Working great so far.
And I should have said 2400 ram not 2600.

stability is better, and half of the time, AMD cards runs better on Nvidia optimized cards.

These days a very modest gaming pc will run just about every and all games out on the market. There aren't many titles that really push the kinds of technology readily available these days.
I would very much guess a -ú500 PC would easily run everything. Hell a $500 PC would probably do the same as I know Americans get much better deals on their hardware than we do in the UK.
