The passive scanning caldari scout build is squishy and has a hard counter in the properly damped gal scout. It is difficult to make the case that something is OP if it has a reasonable counter, particularly when it is a suit that is fairly popular. Moreover, the passive scanning caldari scout has a soft counter in the form of AOE. Shared passive scans are very powerful when used properly, but they make for an interesting game play dynamic.

Well, the thing is you'd have to use a Tac AR especially now that they nerfed the range, if you wanted to counter a Calamari without being scanned first.
I don't really have the time or patience to skill into the lasers when I already have a plasma rifle. |
