These guys are soaking up so much damage and getting off like 5 shotgun shells while taking damage and bouncing around. They will always see you and since they can tell which way your facing it's easy to get the first shotgun round off on your backside. They can see me, i can't see them unless they are and idiot and walk up to me from the front, i can't see them on radar, they are incredibly fast and have commando lvl armor (yes i'm talking about gallente scouts), they have the safest hacking, and they can use the RE's to even take down a well fitted tank or defend points. Please someone explain to me why scouts get all this and have no drawbacks what so ever. Let's be honest, have you ever seen a full proto scout do badly even on the losing team? I for one suck at being a scout. I admit at the moment the scout is at a good spot. The true counter to this is the assault class. Sadly it does not exist at the moment. I am a heavy I have to deal with this BS all the time. I call BS not because of the scout suit but the hit detection. There is something wrong with the scouts hit detection especially the Cal scout. Do not blame the suit or the player, blame the horrible hit detection. For example I less than 10M from a scout and my HMG failed to register most hits even thought the reticule was dead center of the scout the whole fight. I lost, I was upset but its dust mechanics and what can you really do. Don't hate the player or suit blame the hit detection and LAG and just breath. better not let the scouts see this thread they might start b*tching about how hard it is being an invisible suit that can see anything =.= Try being a completely visible suit that shows up on heavy and assault tacnet because of shared scanning with 1/5 the ehp. And if you think being cloaked is being invisible you need your eyes checked.
this is the kind of thing scrub scouts say... before cloaking existed, and when just about everything passively showed up on scans, good scouts were still wrecking face. |
