Would you kindly double check their hitbox?
It's strange, i have less problem to hit double kin cat min scouts, but cal scouts just don't go down.

i'm cal scout lvl 5 and my full proto ehp stacked fit stands toe to toe against hmg heavies with my viziam scr so there might be hitbox concern (i do strafe like a madman though but regardless i don't want to be the victor because of a broken mechanic)
hey you liar! i didn't sneak up on you, i was following you for 5 minutes , waiting for you to hack that cru for a camp

Cal scouts are the beneficiaries of a variety of effects making them challenging to kill; first is their high strafe speeds; Gallente and Amarr don't have a similar problem as often thanks to the frequency with which they're tanked with traditional plates, and also that they typically have a large, quickly-regenerating tank.
Don't forget that double-kincat Min Scouts also don't have any EHP compared to the typical CalScout (I rarely see them with fewer than 400 EHP), and that they're really not that much faster at strafing.

I've made a comparison with the min scout because with double kin cat it should be the fastest scout (yes, gal scout can run faster, but generally they tank HP or EW), it should be more difficult to land hits on a min scout than on a cal scout, but unfortunately it's not, cal have a greater HP pool and probably a tinier hit box.
Of course min have less HP in general, but i find them simpler to hit than cal scouts (to hit, not to kill).

Personal anecdote but I do seem to get alot of "glancing blows" when I'm fighting them, meaning you see the shield effect and here an impact noise but no damage is dealt.
Also, with two complex regulators now their recharge delay drops to 1.2 seconds. Almost as fast as armor reps with a 50hp/s base recharge rate. Their speed and questionable hitbox makes it easier for them to go 1.2 secs without getting hit. They've become a real pain to deal with. |

Someone should make a video testing it. I run cal scout and don't notice myself escaping any more often than I should, but then, I wouldn't notice me not dying.
