As a newberry Contrabanjoe enlisted me in his army of scrubs. Eventually I became a piece of the cream of the major **** crop.
Then I saw PRO wasn't going where I wanted it so I left for Zion TCD. Then Zion TCD was fail cascading and then I went to Synergy Gaming. Where I spent a long portion of my time. Then Eventually EoN beat DUST and most of Synergy went to PS4 so then I left for Fatal Absolution with the few remaining Enclave of Synergy left.
And Now I'm here.
Specialization Timeline: PRO - Tanker, Dropship Pilot, LAV driver (back when a Small blaster was viable), Logistics
Zion TCD - Dropship Pilot, Logistics
Synergy - Logistics, Assault
Fatal Absolution - Assault

Mine would essentially say what it would IC, as PIE would have it everything I do in game I do IC..... I consider this excepting the forums of course, unless outside the IGS.
Basically mine would say that almost a month after accepting my Immortality I joined PIE Inc, at the time a combined Ground and Capsuleer Alliance and Corporation, and within the intial few months before Chirstmas was heavily engaged in Faction Warfare against Carbon 7, New Age Outlaws, and Restlessspirits.
During that time the Amarr FW community was poorly manned, scattered and not used to playing as a team, additionally we were under manned and suffered for it.
With the Empires offering their new Rifles to Factional Contract takes the 24th Crusade and PIE Inc saw its chance and prior to the event has spent the weeks gathering more players to our channels and Q Syncs, as well as reaching out to EoN and Ancient Exiles who both responded positively.
During the event, and within 12 hours the Amarr Militia had regained on the ground upwards of 33% in Devoid and the Bleak Lands and was heavily engaged in plexing Metropolis. That very evening I signed into EVE and proceeded from system to system Reclaiming 7 systems, before standing down.
Within the next two days the entire warzone was Amarrian controlled and the start of the Amarrian Upswing EVE side coincided, claiming even more systems the second day.
We spent a full 2 weeks in control of the warzone before EoN and Ancient Exiles reverted back to their interests in Molden Heath, and it was another three weeks of bitter fighting before the Minmatar managed to push back and take back Metropolis and Heimatar.
However fleet side the Amarr held the entirety of the Warzone.
Three weeks after that the Amarr Dust forces burnt out, unable to keep up with the re-invigorated Minmatar FW groups spear headed by New Age Outlaws and Carbon 7, the former now aligned with WINMATAR alliance.
After that conflict and receiving my first Medal for Dust side action, PIE experienced it lull in player activity, I at the time was unsure if its player base would return to regular hours and joined Fatal Absolution for all of 2 days, before Aero and Aisha mentioned we could try something very interesting with corp mechanics.
We founded the Scions of Athra trying to get tour based cycles of Duty for Amarr FW players who would sign on with us for short sections of time, it worked well, but most players were cemented in their corporations, and leaving was too much to ask, as such the Scions fell into their own down ward slump.
Not long after Maikyl Metsar announced PIE Inc was founding PCLAS, the dedicated Dust wing of Praetoria Imperialis Excubatoris after much internal discussion, since most of our player base were PIE Inc initially we re-joined into more regular deployment hours.
Since then we have been more active in FW, organising Q-Sync's, and deployment sessions, as well as Orbital Bombing Runs for all Amarr Fac Warfare.
More recently we joined the plexing efforts for Arzad, knocking the system into vulnerability before stepping down, after which the Minmatar Dust side FW was able to replex back into stable.
All in all I have mainly been in FW since starting True Adamance, been engaged in 1 major Crusade and Amarr FW push both in space and on the ground.
http://mrgimbleb.blogspot.co.nz/2013/10/amarr-hold-ground-and-push-sky.html
And of course defend the assets we have in the current FW sphere as well as focusing our efforts on destabilising major offensive Plexing zones in EVE.

I should totally do a video about this. Stay tuned ;)
But to put it in a text log
Started off as an assault with a tac rifle kicked ass with the burst rifle before they changed it to 3-shot bursts Found the logi suit became known for my logi skills got invited to Zion TCD Won many battles for Zion Found my love for the HMG
Open Beta Went all out logi skilled into swarms Became pro with the mass driver
Uprising Got my scrambler and killed many caldari logi's All my heavies left because of the nerfs Zion was struggling in PC and disbanded Joined couple other corps, made my own corp after a lot of thought
Joined the forums and the discussions Made a thread about the repair tool limit/cap and the best solution to it. Gets 60+ likes My idea was implemented into the game Feel accomplished Offer another idea (seeing player health bars while repair tool equipped) Another idea of mine implemented Got addicted to the forums
Became more of a slayer type logi Started working on my gungame in combination with my logi stuff Got my HMG and Forge skilled up started working on my heavy (only choice was amarr) Got into the Amarr assault (for scrambler rifle effectiveness) met a bunch of people Messed around with other weapons and tried out more than just the standard gear and equipment I was used to found out that a varied playstyle was actually super fun
Joined random chat channels to get to play with as many people as possible Found out about CEOpyrex and darkstar army Watched his videos Bought my own recording device and started making my own videos One of my first Logi videos became super popular (7k warpoints in a single match, first match that day)
People started talking about me soon it seemed like everyone knew who I was in-game...got gg's all the time Made more videos of my heavy stuff, people really liked that Spent a long time perfecting the "logi+slayer" combo where I'd follow around an armor stacked assault and rep them Met a guy named Frost Kitty Frost Kitty + Shayz FTW
New Rifles Combat Rifle prof 4 on day one Owning everyone with it before it was cool (while everyone was more obsessed with the RR) Frost Kitty and I play matches by ourselves in a squad, and win most of them. Met Crazy Cat Lady...decided it was too OP when you have two Slayer+Logi combos on the same team
New heavy suits inbound and dropsuit changes Skilled into all of the dropsuits (literally) Suit respec, go into Min commando/sentinel HMG buff (not sure when this was, sometime around then) Killing everyone with my burst HMG like it's nothing My heavies came back, start repping all the sentinels
Scouts ruin the game for me Get killed instantly more times in my entire history of the game. Dying upwards of 12-15 times when I run a logi suit. Run scout suit and basic shotgun with cloak? Get 30 kills and 2 deaths Switch to ACR, became a scrub and went with the FOTM for the first time Frost Kitty is now more OP than ever with his proto scout and shotgun No more logi+slayer combo :(
Took a break from the game dealt with real life stuff Came back and found out some counters to the scouts Skilled back into my Amarr Assault Scrambler FTW Started slaying more than I usually do stopped caring about logistics
Left some of my chat channels Instead of squadding up with players I just used squad finder to join other slayers in Ambush Finally figured out why people liked ambush so much Joined Heavy/Logi squads as the heavy instead of the logi...always felt disappointed Miss having a corp with good players, and chat channels that had fun squads
Fanfest around the corner Everyone is excited and can't wait to see what CCP has for us Legion announced So many good players I know leave Forums are a disaster I feel like I'm the only one excited for the move to PC and everything it has in store
Dust settles after the storm Project Legion subforum opened I create an Index for forum posts that gets stickied Legion subforum dies down for now
Hoxfix alpha and bravo are released Faith restored in CCP on all levels!! One of my suggestions gets put in the game after a long thought out post about it (shield regulators values)
Present day Making informational video about starter fits in hopes that CCP will consider my ideas yet again Still hanging out with Frost Kitty Figuring out my logi again slowly maxing out my character Getting back into the burst/TAC AR Becoming a Plasma Cannon pro Killing tanks with PLCs and RE's FTW Trying to make my Mass Driver work again Posting in Atiim's thread

Origin Minmatar, Sebiestor tribe, but my family never joined the Minmatar Republic; they basically were nomadic merchants. At some point my parents settled in the Gallente Federation, and that is where I was born. We weren't very traditional in our practices and beliefs, except when it came to tattoos (tattoos were always important), and we still supported the Republic in the ways that we could.
I was very philosophical and political. I joined the Gallente military at some point because at the time they seemed like the most powerful chance New Eden has for humanity's freedom; I don't believe in democracy (glorified popularity contest), I believe in meritocracy (not the Caldari profiteering kind), but I DO believe in the personal freedom that both the Minmatar and Gallente strive for. Thinking back on it, I have no idea how I got the courage to join, I very much value my life, and I could never come to terms with the idea that I might really die one day. I was never really a good soldier, I basically just hung out with hookers (who I respect, hookers are nice people), seriously they are fun conversationalists, especially when getting high.
Eventually I got out of the military, and this mercenary corporation with sleeper immortality-implant tech was recruiting ex-soldiers, and I joined in for the immortality (I reeeeaaaaally like being alive). Eventually I left, and found other mercs I like hanging out and shooting people in the face with. I fight for the Minmatar and Gallente in faction warfare, but usually I fight for random corps since FW contracts take forever to find, and rewards are crap.
You may find this part veeeery morally questionable I have been the member of a Minmatar liberation effort in which dedicated immortal mercenaries, and the project was of a ethically questionable nature, CONCORD labelled us as "terrorists" because we were willing to do what needed to be done. We would select an Amarr planet with a slave population, get the genetic code of a dead but unreported Amarr citizens from the weapons manufacturing sectors (usually our agents kill them and get rid of the evidence), and that DNA would be the basis for creating a clone of for one of our mercenaries to have as their body. Using the new body and identity with access to weapons manufacturing sites allowed our mercenaries to both infiltrate Amarr society, AND get our hands on shiny golden dropsuits and guns to carry out attacks. The deal to the holders (slave owners) was this: surrender us your slaves, or lots and lots of people die. The freed slaves would then be flown off word in stealth dropships, and be provided with vitoc antidotes if needed.
We had some minor success (though we had attack the holders since they usually didn't care with what happened to common people we executed), but ultimately the project failed because of 3 reasons. The first reason is the level of dedication it required. The second reason is that the mercs who volunteered would need to have skills needed in using Amarr dropsuits and weaponry, since that is the only kind of gear we find on an Amarr colony (usually Minmatar loyalists don't skill into Amarr stuff). The third reason was just fear, no one wanted to be associated with a supposed "terrorist" organizattion wanted by CONCORD's Directive Enforcement Department; sure we killed a bunch of innocent people, but... you know, was for a good-ish reason. Sure ideally I don't want to kill people, but sometimes its required, and I'm willing to do more than most in this department; killing people for living like its a game really does change your perspective a bit.
Am I crazy? I would say I'm just a little "different", or "eccentric" I should probably mention that my love for life has led to a very interesting... condition. Because I value living so much, each time I die, I cannot help be overcome by intense fear and desire to live; as if the primal sections of my mind do not remember that I will be simply reborn anew. When I do wake up in a new clone, I get filled with uncontrollable joy and exhilaration as I realize I realize I get to live. I am addicted to the thrill of rebirth that comes from mercenary life, and that is the main reason I still fight as a mercenary despite having the money to simply retire to a wealthy life of privilege in the Federation; the Federation's Black Eagles are looking for me since I am a wanted "criminal", but I can just get any new identity I want with a designer clone.

Out of character:
Anywaaaaay, I'm a MAG vet who saw some promises about Dust 514 back in 2009. Such promises included 64 player battles (lol), commander position (lol), deployable installations (lol), being able to shoot back at EVE ships (lol), 8 vehicle types at launch (lol).
I love large scale shooters, I love complex and interesting game modes (original Skirmish 1.0, first saw it at Fanfest 2012), I love scifi, and I love high time-to-kill shooters; Dust 514 seemed like a dream, sadly one I have yet to see realized. Fanfest 2012 talked about so many many cool things that got my hopes up, exotic planet types (like lava), MTACs (mechs), all of which were never delivered.
I kept up with all the news and changes with the game, I knew about the market, fittings, etc before I even got in beta.
Got in closed beta, played as basically assault and logi, usually with just a modified starter fit despite knowing perfectly well that I can buy new suits and make new fits; usually on the financially prudent side.
I stopped playing with this character once we got racial merc quarters, and made a new character to play with (just called KAGEHOSHI) for the Gallente merc quarters.
Was a member of Seraphim Initiative since before I got in the beta and before there was an even player-corp system, "joined" back on this old Dust 514 fansite after I saw a recruitment thread. I was never really active with them since I was pretty much a loner.
While I mainly used the AR, I always found it boring, and hoped that the upcoming weapons (at the time the mass driver, and laser rifle) would provide me with a more exotic yet still general purpose solution. Neither MD or LR was what I wanted, though during/after this "tester tournament" art of new assets were revealed, and among them was the scrambler rifle (look at it); so golden and exotic, I had no idea what it was meant to be, but I hoped it was some sort of mid-range weapon and not a sniper rifle. When it finally came out of May 14, 2013, I skilled into it. Took me a long while to get good with the regular scrambler rifle, and until then I used the assault variant.
SI pretty much owned planetary conquest until they got sick of it and the leader basically said "screw it", and SI fell apart and then got rebuilt again in some weird way; I didn't want to be a part so I left.
Eventually I made like a loooots of alts to test out new playstyles, suits, and weapons. I eventually created the corp "Dominion of the Supreme Emperor God-King KAGEHOSHI" as basically a bank to tax myself and redistribute ISK between alts; skill books are expensive. I have been in this bank corp until I started getting social and friendly with a lot of great people on Skype (Aeon Amadi, Cat Merc, Arkena Wyrnspire, Mobius Wyvern, virgindestroyer7, tons of others).
My hopes regarding CCP's promises has been gradually withered down from a mountain to a rock, and that rock was nuked from orbit by Fanfest 2014. I do hope Legion succeeds in realizing Dust's vision, and migrates to PS4. Honestly though, none of the things I hear or seen about Legion is that exciting or ambitious aside from a few sandbox features.
I have been squadding with virgindestroyer and her corp a lot and eventually joined her corp (Onslaught Inc, AKA ONS), and I am part of the super duper elite group of people who know the story behind virgindestroyer7's name. So yeah, I'm probably pretty high ranking and extra important . ONS is the best gaming community I have ever joined, and I recommend it.
One thing I will never be able to let go is CCP's treatment of game modes. Domination is basically a tweaked version of simple boring Skirmish, and OMS is pretty much a tweaked version of Ambush. I'm sick of only getting modes that are just the exact same thing. For close to 2 years I have been asking for a mode with an attack/defend mode similar to the original Skirmish 1.0 of closed beta. Game modes were never given more than an ounce of attention in Dust. The current boring game mode situation to me is the absolute WORST aspect of this game, and it genuinely makes me angry because we had this really interesting and engaging mode (Skirmish 1.0) and it just got scrapped. I'm tired of doing the same things over and over.

Downloaded the Dust beta. Played a few times, got stomped. Quit for a week.
Tried again. Played more, biomassed my first 4 toons, quit maybe twice more.
With a few weeks left in beta I created my then-main, a dedicated sniper (got me killed less). Got pretty good at it, was recruited into my first corporation, Royal Assassins Guild.
Got bored being a sniper. Made John Demonsbane - blanked out for a while and the name kinda popped in my head, wasnGÇÖt in love with it but was in a hurry and assumed IGÇÖd probably biomass him like I did every other character. Played for a couple weeks, made smarter SP decisions, bought BPOGÇÖs, so didnGÇÖt end up doing it.
I played a pretty generic assault role for a while, until we got beat bad one night by subsonic synthesis, who made very good use of uplinks (believe it or not, back then you might only see 3 of 4 uplinks on the entire map). Afterwards, one of my directors said GÇ£Somebody needs to start carrying some god damn uplinks around here!GÇ¥ and my career in tactical logistics was born.
IGÇÖm still playing logistics with most the same people (under a new name) to this day: Eventually we got dissatisfied with that corp, as the CEO was an EvE player who didnGÇÖt give a crap about Dust. We all got together in a private chat one night, talked it over, and all 20 of us left simultaneously in the middle of the night. Ironically, that same day we finally hit #100 on the corp leaderboard (no thanks to me, I have about 1.5 mil career WP but only 6000 kills!)
We joined a different corp that night to see if we could protect our few EvE pilots. It was only partly successful. A week later we decided we liked doing things our way, and formed Unorganized Ninja Infantry Tactics (UNIT). Eventually, after both Hellstorm and ANONYMOUS tried to get us to merge with them, we joined LoI just before a lot of the big players left to join EoN. The blue donut kept us out of PC as a corporation, though many of us would ring for the alliance.
As for me, despite being a 35 mil SP dedicated Amarr logi, IGÇÖve yet to play a single PC battle. My RL work schedule does not cooperate with the district timers. Instead, my competitive outlet has been fighting for God and Empire in Amarr FW, as one of the dedicated crusaders True Adamance wrote so eloquently about in his bio.
Become forum warrior, just as addictive as the game. Write a few guides on the rookie forums (tactical logistics/uplinks and laz0r rifle), get nominated to Dust wall of fame for it, lose to the obvious choice, Fox Gaden.
As for today: After fanfest I went from addictively playing almost every night (if only for an hour or 2) to full on bittervet mode and not playing at all for weeks at a time. Deleted my guides. Eventually came back part time to burn my assets and see where Rattati takes this.
There are only 3 things keeping me playing: My corpmates, my fellow Templar, and of course, the laz0r rifle. I rarely logi when running solo anymore, I usually drop into Dom or Ambush and melt all the heathens I can find with my LR Amarr assault. That weapon is just crazy fun to use. If I ever get bored of it, I will likely quit Dust forever.
(The godfather of tactical logistics)
Quitting cold turkey was impossible. The forum patch is helping me kick the habit

In-character, my main Denak has a long and complex backstory spanning multible lives due to Intaki rebirth, eventually building up to him joining the dusters. Writing all that would take some time.
For out of character, my backstory is relatively simple. I had just started gaining great interest in sci-fi, and I had a passion for shooters a long time. DUST 514 was pretty much what I wanted at the time and instantly signed up for the beta. The first few days I wandered around the battlefields as a noob until my first friend got me into CrimeWave Syndicate, this was around winter 2012-2013.
I hung around with them for a while, gained a few more friends and was first introduced into the art of scouts. As Uprising began to approach and EoN was forming up, most of CrimeWave was moved to SyNergy Gaming or its training corp, me included, and drama happened. The few months before Uprising I began playing EVE as well, and after I left CrimeWave/SyNergy, I joined the mining corp my EVE alt was in for a few weeks until I found BurgezzETF. I stuck with them for some time again and gained more friends, and further refined my art of scouting. This all happened spring 2013, before Uprising launched.
Then when Uprising finally came out and we began doing PC matches we had practiced and prepared for, we got stomped pretty fast. Our stockpiled ISK was auickly burnt out, and only a few weeks later I lost interest in the PC lagfest. I originally began looking into roleplaying when I was still in CrimeWave at the early spring ln 2013, and at late spring/early summer of 2013, I found the Intaki Liberation Front. It catered to just what I was looking for in a corp, and I have stuck to it for nearly a year now.
During late summer 2013, I started up my blog and began writing fiction, and joined the first original bastards to be in the scout registry. For a long while, nothing spectacular happened, just continuing to roleplay, write my blog and fiction and advance the interests of my corp. Then when spring 2014 came around and scout registry had been shut down, I had begun to be elevated into the "leet veteran scout" status among with many others, and joined Nos Nothi. Afterwards nothing interesting happened again until Legion was announced, which is when I completely and suddenly lost interest in playing DUST.
I shut down my blog, withdrew from the RP scene, got placed in the reservist section of my corp and pretty much dropped off the radar aside writing fiction every once in a while, all this due to a long buildup of bitterness towards the horrible nature of DUST RP and CCPs lack of support towards roleplayers and lore junkies DUST side. This pretty much leaves me at now, where I set up an IC explanation for the end of Denak's career and continue telling his life in the form of fiction.
I guess all this can be summarized as having initial confusion and lack of direction. When I found a direction and something to seek for, I completely dedicated myself to it. And lots and lots and lots and lots of writing. I still live the hope of restarting Denak's career and my blog when/if Legion launches. We'll see.
