I am tired of trying to grind out the SP every week. I know it burns a lot of people out on this game. I am no fool either as I know this game is on life support.
BUT, what if .
You could buy a multiplier that multiplys your SP every battle by 2 or 3. Just like the ones that used during SP events. It would cut down the grind significantly.
They could be sold separately for Aurum or bundled together with a booster.
Like I said, I know this game is dying, and no one wants to spend money BUT I still have aurum and would probably spend more money if I knew everything would transfer to Legion or I knew an exact date of when this game was going to be unplugged.
Plus I am sure it looks good for the DEV's on Dust side if transactions are taking place especially with all the work that has been done lately. Thanks Ratty.
Any thoughts, ideas, feedback are welcomed. Even trolls. They need luv too. |

I play my main and 2 alts. I really like your comment. It really touched on the idea and subject on hand. I just wish your argument was valid. |

deezy dabest wrote:What you are describing is really no different than the current boosters.
The grind feeling comes from the fact that if you do not cap out that week you feel like you have lost that potential SP forever.
All we need is for unused bonus SP to accumulate to a second pool that kicks in whenever you cap out. This secondary pool should have a cap on it like say 1 million, anything over the set cap would be lost forever. We would then be able use extra SP out of that pool on high play weeks while not feeling too much loss if we come up short of the cap for the week by whatever amount.
Yes I am in favor of rollover SP but that is not what I am describing.
You know when they have an SP event, it is:
1) 3 times the normal SP amount so Approx 570,000 SP.
2) 5 times the payout per battle of SP. So if normally you would have been paid 5,000 SP that is now 25K Sp.
Make a booster (multiplier) available to buy for aurum that multiplys your payout per match thus cutting down the total SP pool faster, |

But I fail to see how your self imposed burden of capping three characters at once does anything but reinforce my argument that reducing your required playtime is entirely within your power and sensible thing to do if you can't enjoy your current schedule.
I read the first sentence then the rest was just blah blah blah , some more words, then blah blah blah .

Very original troll. Did I say those words? IS your reading comprehension levels up to par? GED's are acceptable.

Neither have I. Usually takes 2-3 days. Running advanced or proto logi, and Proto forge. |

GG Sir. 2EZ actually about 70% of human communication doesn't even use words... add to that how little what most of us say is actually what we mean, and the relevancy of the actual words you use is diminished exponentially... so no you didn't use those words, but that's still what you are saying, even if you don't realize it....
Good job Dr. Phil Nailed it on the head. Again I saw the first few words, then the rest was mumbly jumbly. Blah blah blah blah blah |

Umm... That's an Active Booster. It increases the amount of SP you get at the end of the match by 50%. Although, I wouldn't mind seeing the return of Active Omega Boosters, which increase your SP payouts by 100%.
No, I am talking about a multiplier that would actually help you chip away at the weekly bonus faster. Not giving more of a SP bonus. |

That's what Active Boosters do. Go to dust514.com/user, sign up for that newsletter and then visit this thread here. Redeem the free 3-Day Active Booster and try it for yourself.
I know the active booster gives you 50% more SP.
What I am describing is like when they have the SP events you get approx. 570K SP (3x normal amount) pool to grind out. They usually pair that with a 3 or 5 time multiplier to get through that amount in time.
They should make available that multiplier to buy for aurum just like the boosters. Or purchase them as a bundle. |

And also, what you're describing is a passive SP booster.
What is their solution they are offering?
So when they give us an SP event they are giving us a passive SP booster? Yeah that makes sense. I totally see the light now.
I think you missed the point.
Thanks for trying. |

You mean like the SP Events? While that does seem good in theory, it would be pay-to-win, which is a game model that CCP said they wish to stray away from. Although, CCP Rattati said that there would be an event soon, so I'd hold my breath for another one. vlad stoich wrote: What I respect about your posts , is that they are always backed up with links and some type of evidence.
Well, I do try my hardest. Someone's gotta put these bad posters in line right?
Yes. At the end of a match you are awarded your SP's for your participation in battle. Lets say it was 5,000 SP. Well you purchased a multiplier that bumped it to 15,000. That takes 15,0000 off of your total weekly bonus. Thus helping you cap faster.
Pay to win lol. Then why sell aurum gear. Why sell boosters. All to get ahead and win. An advantage over those who dont.
They say they want to get away from that, but they do the exact opposite. Like when they had that event and sold Omegas right before FanFest. |

I totally see the light now. I think you missed the point. Thanks for trying. No, I think you missed the point. You're asking to be given SP without work - essentially what you want is another 192,400 SP without working for it. Well, when DUST becomes a grind stop playing and find something else to do. Like everybody else does.
Read what I post before you begin to tell me what I want. I am not asking for another 190,400. I would run an omega if I wanted that. You have still failed to show me where people have given me the solution. You haven't provided anything of relevance to this conversation.
Thank you sir. |
