I'm finally able to fit three kincats on my Minmatar and still have enough shielding to survive. Ain't no way that needs to go away. You can have your extra equipment slot back, but I keep my kincats! Also, E-Ware modules are already the cheapest things available to fit. I run them on most of my suits, and especially the suits I don't have room to fit anything else. Hell, I've got two complex precision enhancers on my Minmatar heavy frame.
Nova Knives are best sidearm.

Scout suits sucked in 1.7 because CCP ****** up and gave every suit the exact same profile signal. Meaning every suit always appeared on tacnet no matter what. And this nerf is targetting more to Caldari and Gallente scout brink tankers.
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind seeing a nerf to the above two suits, but if all scouts are nerfed, it's only going to hurt the bottom tier the most. The Minmatar scouts are still down ten to twenty PG (I believe) compared to the Caldari and Gallente scouts, and can just barely squeeze out enough PG to fit Nova Knives and Kincats on the proto suits for pure speed builds. That, and it was stupid before that the suit meant for speed (Minmatar scout) could be outdone by a Gallente scout (Four Kincats) If a nerf is going to be done to prevent armor tanking scouts with cloaks, it needs to be with the modules themselves. It was mentioned somewhere above I believe that adding higher profile signatures to armor modules would do it, and I wholeheartedly agree. Add a penalty to using something, don't just merely take away from the suit to try and prevent people from doing it.
