The heavy suit is designed so that you can use those weapons and not fall back on your ass everytime you shoot it. Doesn't mean there isn't supposed to be recoil.
The OP is looking for a way to nerf the heavy or HMG. I see what he's doing. It's slick but noticeable.
Why is this even discussed though? Recoil doesn't need to be added. So now, recoil and extra heat build up....yea, people are trying to gimp the heavy. No sir. Heavies are fine where they are now.

You really think that heavies are balanced?
How could you call it balanced when, on the road for a longer TTK, every weapon EXCEPT for the HMG had its dpb nerfed. And if that wasn't the kicker, they got a buff to baseline hp. And on top of all of that, they added resistances to the very weapons that other classes need to kill them. Gallente sentinels were given resistance to armor weapons...that's insane.

Again, I think the heavies are fine where they are now. They weren't a threat and nothing but a joke in 1.7. Heavies dealt with a period of dullness. Let them have their time to shine.
The constant fluctuation of nerf/buff/nerf/buff is just tiresome. I can deal with heavies where they are now. Let's just leave it at that.

HMG is basically a Gatling Gun.
Gatling guns when used on a Tripod don't have ANY kick. And even without tri-pod, the gatling gun system IS an Anti-recoil system.
The only thing which makes it "normally" can't be used as an infantry weapon is the weight and further more the bullets weight.
Oh and the sentinel suits IS the "tripod"
Anyway recoil on the HMG is non-sense.

If it's the suit that prevents recoil and kick it would stand to reason that the light frame suits should suffer rifle kick more than medium frames. |

why would it kick? the bullets from an HMG aren't that powerful. most do less than 20 damage. it just shoots a lot of them really fast.
anyways, Jessie Ventura's gun didn't kick when he mowed down the jungle in Predator! |

Most guns do have a "barrel rise" effect, but that only occurs when you're just hip firing the weapon.
How about the Magsec Smg? Even at level 5 that thing feels like it still kicks all over the place while ADS. |

illl put it in simple terms on why it doesnt needed it.

sometimes takes half a clip to kill a single person. could it kill three in a row in quick succession or more?. sure. within 10-20 meters though.
and depends on how fast or how much hp they've got on them.
