Let's also remove the revive option from Ambush.
Or lets have some option to deny the revive
I need something CCP, this is one of the most annoying things about Dust...the revive factor.
Removal or chance of denial...

Is that not what I said? Remove the revive. Hey, vehicles were removed so why not revive? Seriously, something needs to be done about it. Maybe dumbberries will actually concentrate on fighting instead of running around picking up halfway dead mercs on the battlefield in the middle of gunfire.

Removal or chance of denial... Well what if a proto logi runs 30m over to you, you deny the revive, he gets under fire and is shot down. QQ will ensue. How about you needing to ask for help before the revive option comes up. It makes way more sense. You die then either: a. You press on your "death" location for request help. or b. you choose a spawn location or the "smartLOL" deploy. No qq'ing and injector camping in one bang.
Please. If vehicles can be removed from Ambush because a bunch of pansies can't fight against two tanks...then a revive option can be completely removed.
I like the removal of revives entirely. I'm going to start pushing for it.

When you get injected you have let's say 10 seconds to accept the revive(gives you time to see if the action is dieing) or deny it and respawn. The person who revives you only gets the WP if you accept it, so they won't get the WP immediately but 0-10 seconds later after they injected you.
I would rather the revive mechanic be removed entirely. I don't even care about the person getting the WP.
You know, you can't find a mercenary to cover your six when you're alive but you're damn sure they will come to revive you when you're dead.
I want it removed. It's an odd...crutch for some. That's all they do. Fire behind cover and stay there (isn't that why they wanted vehicles removed? Because they just sat behind cover the whole game and tanks would seek them out?), and then come out in the middle of a killzone, revive you and then run like hell back in cover.
It's like...they know its stupid (why else are they hauling ass back to cover) but will do it anyway.

This kind of reasoning is why removing tanks from ambush isn't just a boon for some infantry but also a dangerous precedent of limiting one players choices because another doesn't agree with how he chooses to play the game. Giving players the option to deny a revive is fine. Removing the mechan+¡c as a whole from ambush, thus devaluating the logistics role just because you don't care about your teams clone count is not.
No, you rather fail to see the ingenious of it and what I am pointing out. Look at what you just said "also a dangerous precedent of limiting one players choices because another doesn't agree with how he chooses to play the game"
Where were you when people wanted GEKs nerfed, when weapon choice was limited? In fact, where were you in 98 percent of the threads that did exactly what you implied?
If vehicles can be removed from Ambush-you know what let me put it another way. If the game can be changed to accommodate the babied few who chooses not to organize and work with each other to destroy vehicles in ambush, then we can also remove the revive.
I scoff at the logi comment. What about the Forge gunners in regular ambush? The guys with fits specifically made with REs and AV nades to solely concentrate on tanks?
It's simple. This game constantly is changed to accommodate people in General Discussion who often don't play at a competitive level.
So why can't the removal of revive happen? What's really wrong with that? We already half way there in having a COD deathmatch game, so why not remove the revive?

Nope. Just want the revival thing removed. The revival part really doesn't bode well in Ambush. It's really quite simple. Most in here saying otherwise are the people sticking needles in dead guys in the middle of gunfire.

Now that I think of it, if you want ambush to be a dead on death match where every bullet and every clone counts then no revive makes sense. But still, I don't think it will happen and the revive function needs to be redone, preferably with my idea. =ƒÿè
Yes, just a full on deathmatch. We are already halfway there. Might as well go full deathmatch. Really, it would be fun.
