Hello,
I haven't thoroughly tested it yet but the first 5 mins of trying it out I instantly felt the difference. That change in the fire interval from 1.5 to .5 made a huge difference. I am even willing to say that after this a two shot variant might not even be necessary. If this was done a lot earlier it would have helped the weapon be used a lot more. Am taking footage now for a more detailed feedback but OMG does it feel a thousand times better...
Thank you logibro and rattati

Thank you logibro and rattati How do you think it fairs against tanks? I've given the ADV version a few shots and really noticed quite a bit of power against shield tanks. I think with maxed prof, and a proto cannon, I could easily one shot strip a gunnlogi's shields. I still much prefer my forge gun, but that's only because I do have that thing proto with a few points in prof. Got lucky and picked up another cannon user in my LAV, and I tracked down a sica. Both of us jump out and landed 2 quick shots and man did that thing nearly ****. Damn near insta killed the poor guy! Had he not have run so quickly a single AV nade from both of us would have blown him to bits, in just a few seconds!
I have profi 5 and it all depends on the tank fit but you can definately do some serios damage. Not quite enough to completely strip the shield but damn near close. But that is with profi 5, 1 complex damage mod and an adv commando

But that is with profi 5, 1 complex damage mod and an adv commando So one shot of that, one shot from a forge, and maybe a packed AV nade thrown in there would equal one dead shield tank. And have you tried it on a sica, I blow those up left and right with a forge gun, but I struggle with my ADV plasma cannon to get them past the armor.
3 SHOT A SICA with my allotek. But he did stay there for almost 20 seconds so it's his fault

Do you notice any differences between the KLA and the Allotek when shooting infantry. It seems when I use the KLA I get double kills, and generally more kills. I have Lvl 5 Galmando and prof 4 PLC. Please any feedback/testing on this would be appreciated. I assume the splash damage appears to be better on the KLA than the Allotek. I am also happy to test with you in game just shoot me a msg when your online. I am sure Arkena would help too?
CCP Logibro, would it be possible that the changes from Alpha was not applied in terms of splash damage to the Allotek PLC?
splash damage wasnt changed on any of the PLC tiers. I've noticed that when using proto gear people tend to be more conservative in the way they play since the cost of losing the suit is steep. That might be the problem. Apart from that, the issue with splash damage is still persistent. So it might be that bug. You do say 300 splash but only 50 damage registers. It's really agitating but it's less relevant now that we can actually do something after we shoot.

[quote=I-Shayz-I I still think the projectile speed needs to be increased, but that's debatable.[/quote]
This is what makes the PLC unique... I think the speed of the projectile should never be changed. Dust needs to have a weapon that requires extreme skill and the PLC does fill that niche
