i like the game, i hate the balancing, i hate the whining on the forums, but enjoy talking to most of the people i squad with.
overall i still enjoy the game, shame ccps not interested in the game anymore
Sort out Dust before Legion or that will be a mess too

Ahem, on topic, yes I really still enjoy dust, I liken it to my grandfather going to the pub. More about meeting like minded people and talking/playing with old friends than fueling a lifetime addiction. Im online most days I enjoy most matches and the development over the last couple of years has been interesting to follow if exasperating at some stages, here's to fun games with fun people

I'm starting to notice that there's been a cascade effect on players. I don't have specific numbers, just a general suspicion and a quick glance at eve-offline.net but I think a lot of people have been leaving due to the fact that their friends have left. I think that people are leaving less because of problems within the game but because they're starting to find it harder to deal with those problems due to a lack of comfortable social atmosphere. Just a theory though.
I myself certainly don't play nearly as much as I did when I was rolling with ANONYMOUS in Renegade Alliance, but I do still play.

Its the truth man. These type of big online games always seem / do a hell of a lot better when you have a great bunch of people to roll around with. That type of experience cannot be manufactured, its emergent.
I have noticed the same thing, people leaving because of a sort of knock on effect. However it has also meant players coming back to the game are starting to 'bunch up' more.
I really look forward to Legion and I hope that materialises however I still know that DUST has so much more in it, hell I Know the devs have assets ready just waiting to be tweaked.
(Maps possibly - but mainly things like the Logi and the Scout LAV`s! I can still see them in my fitting window, why not bring them back with balanced stats) |

Not quitting just yet as there's still plenty of fun to be had. Could be more than a year until Legion gets an official release, so I'll do what others call "living in the moment".

yeah tbh i feel like my biggest issue with dust now is the community is dieing the game all around has gotten allot better and im really enjoying it..but sadly community moral was hit witha giant hammer..so many peeps leavin.. |

This game is awesome. Since I first started playing, I've enjoyed playing this game. I'm glad that I get to play a game that is unique from other shooters. And I can say I'm here for the long haul. It's good to see more positive post on the game despite everyone problems with the game.

I've been having the most fun since chromosome to be absolutely honest. Snipers and shotguns (they are underpowered if you compare them to the other weapons) need to be fixed.

just because its a dying game made by a joke of a company that will probably go bankrupt before legion ever gets green - lit , does not mean this game isn't fun....
I have a lot of fun playing.... I look at every day I have left with dust like spending those last moments with a loved one with a terminal illness... building memories and cherishing this last bit of time spent together before the inevitable end.
.....yes I love dust, as imperfect and buggy as it is, kind of like the way I love my autistic nephew....it's a very "special" game. |

Dust is the ONLY fps I play. Most other fps games lack real loss, which makes them get boring very fast. And the character, suit and vehicle customization in Dust is another thing that keeps me logging on.
