The flay lock is viable as is, people just need to practice with it. Edit: corp battles would be awesome |

Also fine. I use that on my gallente assault and it's been quite useful. Some scouts have had success running nothing but two ion pistols. I think the consensus (at least as far as I've gathered from forums) that the ion pistol is trash is unwarranted. I don't care if people want to tell me the scrambler pistol is better in every way, there are still many of us that enjoy using the ion pistol successfully.
Same goes with the flaylock. |

I don't play PC. Even if I did, I wouldn't judge weapons based on how effective they are in PC. I play this game to have fun. I can do much better with an AR than I can with a PLC but that doesn't mean that I think the PLC is a bad weapon. I'm sure the PLC doesn't appear in PC too often either, but it doesn't mean it needs to be buffed to the level of something as competitive as the ACR. I know this is not what you're implying, I'm just saying that I probably wouldn't feel on par with anyone in PC unless I was using an ACR. Clearly there are very good weapons in this game and average weapons. Judging them by PC standards basically means judge it against the most advantageous choice existing in the game. |

True...but the thing is it shouldnt take two rounds of any weapon just to kill an infantry That sounds fair but I think this weapon is best used as a clean up weapon. It's a backup in my arsenal and when I run out of SMG ammo it can clean up armor very quickly.
My problem with buffing the flay lock is that I can already use it effectively. It was my least favorite thin about this game when t was easy to use because it is totally a bailout weapon. You can sneak up on someone and they could just twist and jump and empy the clip on you and it would be over. Now it's harder to do that but the risk of missing your tree shots and being dead in the water is balanced right now by finishing off an enemy quickly after shields are down.
I'd say it's just a different type of weapon that requires a different approach to use effectively. People used to the scrambler pistol/SMG will have to adjust or be disappointed. But this doesn't mean that the weapon doesn't have its purpose. I don't think it should be buffed to be able to accomplish what a scrambler pistol currently does, for example |
