Sort out Dust before Legion or that will be a mess too

I'm going to agree with you and say yeah removed vehicles from Ambush but not because of the reason you suggested, as a player I am just as entitled to take my assets into a match to fight..... however because of map design and constraints then wholly unbalance the infantry combat.

This would be one change that would actually make me want to log on and play DUST occasionally.
I've become so bored with this game that I hardly have any incentive to play anymore. I'm tired of capturing null cannons to destroy enemy MCC , I hate FacWar, and there's no way I'll be getting back into PC (the competitive DUST boat has sailed long ago for me). Ambush is where it's at, and being a solo player having to deal with tanks is uber frustrating.
I just want to log on, shoot some heads, and log off. Ambush is prime for that, but tankers seriously ruin the fun. There's not enough time or coordination to get a tank down to kill the enemy tank when there's only 50 or 80 clones. If and when I do drop a tank down to take care of the problem the clone count is hitting close to zero by that time. Just straight up get rid of them. Let tanks do their things in objective-based maps. Keep ez mode tanks out of my deathmatch mode.

In lieu of them being able to fix Smart Deploy (best CCP troll, evar.) then I'm in favor of it. The team vehicle limit being set at 2 is ridiculous. I can't call in transport because of wannabe HAV stompage. No limit to Transport Vehicles may be enough to sway my decision in the other direction.

I never do ambush, much less drive vehicles in ambush, and completely disagree.
The reason your game-mode is ****** isn't because of vehicles, it's because your spawn system is ******. Back when I played ambush, you weren't spawned 3 meters away from a clump of reds just because your allies were there. Once fighting started happening in an area, the default spawn would drop everyone practically across the map from it. This gave everyone plenty of time to get to defensible positions or set themselves up for a decent counterattack.
