Don't the chance to log on today to check out them plasma cannons. Any of my fellow die hard plasma cannon users care to tell me how it fairs with the new stats?
Is it a viable AV choice now or are its other flaws still holding it back?

Yes it is IMO.....I run a commando with a adv plasma and a assault basic swarm with remotes..... Its pretty good

Not a huge AV difference, but it's now worth running higher tiers.
Running an advanced PLC with a standard Breach AR on a gal commando. Absolutely devours infantry, and the cannon is pretty good at one-shotting sentinels.

It was always good at taking out sentis, have you tried the alloteck yet? I'm planning to get on tomorrow or the following day to test things out myself. Alloteck on a proto galmando to see if it can effectively kill/cripple armor tanks.

Successfully killed a Gunnlogi in four shots.
He was a complete ****** though.
Also killed a badly piloted Python in two (with an allotek).

I 3 Shotted a Gunloggi hardeners went off and gone. Again he was a bit of a n00b and got stuck on a rail so was easy pickings. I may have had help from a flux too I wasnt too sure.
I am finding that it 'seems' to be a little less effective against infantry however..has anyone else experianced this?

Remember, Rattati, Project Legion might have dual-wielding Assaults but Dust 514 doesn't.
Assaults get the benefit of grenades, Commandos get the two light weapons. There currently is no suit that can have both two light weapons and grenades.

Please go on. The Minmatar Scouts aren't like that. The Gallente aren't. You may be confusing a messed up LP suit as the Imperial Ak.0 with 2 Light Weapons and a sidearm.

Silly me indeed, I also run a nanohive logi AV fit. I was just so excited about my AV commando  . In fact I run swarrms and PLC on it, dual PLC is not the most viable fit in reality

Right right. Glad you mentioned it though, because I've been meaning to talk to you about turning the Flaylock Pistol into an AV weapon since you have this golden opportunity to do so, now, with all hotfixes on the roadmap 
Then you've given some leeway for the AV guys to go pure AV or even have an alternative to players who want to focus on anti-infantry with -some- AV capability. Just a thought.

Then again, maybe the suit exists as a juggernaut build that only devs can deploy into special Dust contracts. I would love if the devs did that one of these days. Went into matches with completely OP suits in a running man style game event.

Wait, you may not have to dump the Commando. Why isn't their a Medium weapon? Like a LMG? We have Sidearms, Light weapons and heavy weapons?
Unless the scaling is more like Sidearms being light weapons, Light weapons being Medium Weapons and Heavy are heavy weapons.

I was good before, but now it's even better.
Before, some sentinels would survive a direct hit.
Now, they're definitely done for.
