The CPM is an elected body of seven members, but it only becomes a body once elected. Until the community at large select those to represent them; we are members of that same community just like everyone else, which we remain even after we are elected. We are simply individual players with an interest to assist the game; Nothing more. Being a candidate is not a position, it is a label. A simple sign of intent, and one that we give ourselves; not one that has been earned. Until the community decide that we are something, we are nothing. We must never seek to separate ourselves from them, elevate ourselves above them or decide things in their absence.

Anything I need to say about the elections, the process after or to anyone involved I would like to say out here, in the public sphere. I cannot envision anything I would need to say to a candidate that cannot be said in the communityGÇÖs space for all to see. Here the players can judge me on everything I say and how I treat my fellow candidates. Nothing hidden, no closed doors, no hidden agendas.

I would be glad to take part in pre-election events or to talk openly with the other candidates, but I must politely decline the invitation to join you in a private channel.

That depends on what is achieved there? Again I need to ask what it's purpose is.

I posted this thread as an intent to run as I stated in the OP. I did this so that I could concentrate actual details about my views elsewhere. This is because announcement threads, as you see happened here, tend to get filled with either well wishes, abuse or bogged down with too many irrelevant questions.

I prefer another method of focusing my views. So I will offer more detail and responce in another thread, and the candidate platform soon. The election process needs some clarity and final conformation from CCP first.

Until we are accepted I don't feel we should have threads in the official forum. It should be a concise forum. All candidates so the voters know where to find information and what they are seeing when they look there.
