My Minmitar scout is now useless. Can't hide from Caldari scouts, Gallente scouts are still more superior. Thanks guys (sarcasm here in case you idiots can't tell) |

Thanks guys (sarcasm here in case you idiots can't tell) Gal scout has the lowest bonuses of all scouts and is hardly undetectable any more. But out of curiosity what has changed for the minmatar scout? Edit: the question regarding the mini scout is a honest one because I think about speccing into them... With the cloak damp bonus I could put a kincat for speed (since the Minmitar is meant for speed) and a damp without having to worry about getting scanned. While Caldari scouts were still able to scan me in the past, those that only put one precision mod instead of two couldn't see me on scans.
NOW all they need is one. I am forced to put two damps (this is on an adv) on my suit making me slower. We're talking about a suit that is supposed to be a speed suit. I take advantage of the Nova Knife bonus on this suit, so speed is something I need. That's what's changed.

Let's explain something a little better for the ignorant players.
3 complex damps: while I can hide from a regular scanner a Caldari scout with 2 (maybe 3) scan precision mods is still going to.see me. Now, since the Minmitar is supposed to be a speed suit it is now going to be destroyed by anything looking at it because it has a max of 345 shields and is now too slow to get away.
Kincats: well lol cant fit 3 kincats without giving up something major like heath or a good weapon, none of that is going to.matter because now EVERYTHING can see me.
Now for anyone saying I have to choose between speed and stealth, is that not what the scout is suppised to be? Stealthy AND speedy? We have this, but low health (or SUPPOSED to have low health). I chose the scout role because of these two reasons. But now you're going to tell me that I have choose between the two things that make a scout?
Now please explain to me how this is balanced? |

Although your Minmatar scout suit has a good base profile signature and has the fastest base suit speed in game... I'm sorry, what are you whining about again? You obviously don't knife. You need to have both stealth and speed. That is what the Minmitar scout is, the fastest of the stealth class. The Caldar has scans, tank, and somewhat speed I gue ss, Gallente has damp, speed, and tank, Minmitar has speed OR stealth? Why do I have to choose when the others don't. I can't say anything about the Amarr scout cuz I don't use it. But we all know it's junk :(
Now, is there anymore people that want to disagree that actually knifes on a regular basis? This is all based on the KNIFING SUIT it has that bonus, and I take advantage of it. With the speed OR stealth bs, it' pretty ****** -_- |

Edit: I do feel your pain though. I want to become a Minja but if they don't show it some love I never will. What the hell good is it if you can't even fit a Kin Cat or Cardiac? Been Minmitar since 1.4. Believe me, I know... |
