AFKers use turbo controllers and leave something heavy on the triangle button (reason why they keep tea-bagging the air). Don't know why the Anti-Armor starter fit is a major fad among them though.

Alternatively, they use a rubber band into the corner of an MCC.

I just wrap the charging cord around the thumb sticks. I am out of rubber bands.

 I have a 5 year old Sixaxis, i don't need rubber bands.
The problem is that i'm actually playing while i'm browsing the menus, why is it recognized as AFKing?

My controller is so old that when i click my left thumb stick it sometimes activates a series of other button commands at random. For example, i tried to sprint towards an enemy but instead i crouched threw a grenade uncrouched jumped zoomed in and then threw my other grenade, all from clicking the thumb stick one time.

other afking methods include using a swarm launcher and sticking R1 down, or wedging your analog stick down using your tv remote!

you can also AFK in a parked gorgon until some one drops orbital on it

i do most of my AFKing in academy these days. i was the original AFKer from 2012. i was the one who enlightened the community to AFKing on ladders when we could be killed by friendly grenades.. 2 hours of academy AFK will net you about 2 mil isk.
