any large scale game is gonna be zergish, just how ppl will operate
use the tactic tht takes the least skill and effort to pull off
Destiny will have comp mp but it will be more arena based, which is fine by me im more a competitive player than lookin for large zergy games. I'll be on PS2 but i wont be taking that srsly, cant take any large persistent open world game srs tbh when u log off ur relying on randoms to pull their weight ala MAG lol
itll be alot of fun just imo not for spr srs play

So yea, to all of you still playing this game, it's only because you're slightly better than the scrubs currently playing. 1 eyed man in a blindman's land...as they say. How sad. God forbid you find a game that gives you a challenge..."THAT GAME SUCKS!!!"... can't hold a 2+ KD in BF or lolCoD, so obviously the game sucks. Have a 6+ KD in DUST "DUST IS THE SHIZNIT! BEST FPS OUT THERE!!!!" One thing though, those games do what they do, best. DUST hasn't done anything good except for the RPG aspect, and that isn't a hard thing to do, let's be real.
its a known fact that many ppl stick to what they good/decent at and are willing to overlook glaring flaws if it means they can finally be good at a game. Why play a better game that they gettin owned in when they can take the easy route and play a bad game they decent at instead of trying to get better at said better game?
Most gamers are casual and very low competitive drive, they get owned they look for all sorts of excuses except saying "hmm maybe i need to get better"
DUST tbh has a very low comp community, vast majority of them are casual/think they competitive, just look at how easy ppl give up or cry when u attack them in a game based around WAR and territorial control. DUST wasnt a good enough game to attract the type of competitive clans and players it really needed tbqh

You are a player who transitions from one game to the next for the short term sprint, falls short of success, and moves on to the next thing hoping that the barrier to dominance is lower the next time around. Being competitive doesn't mean sticking with a bad game against all reason, but it does mean sticking with something. If you can't do that much then don't you dare call yourself competitive. It's an insult to actual competitive players. I am, however, glad that you finally understand PS2 is a waste of time. It certainly took long enough for you to reach that realization.

hoping the barrier for dominance is lower next time around? LOL

If i wanted that why would i leave dust when this was the worst playerbase ive played against skill wise?

PS: as for PS2 from the moment we left dust we said we were goin back to more comp oriented games no one had any wild hopes for PS2 but for it to be a fun game to play with the peeps from EoN.

Lol who are you again? Oh that's right a scrub . You were bad in this game. No gun game what so ever. And thought you were relative when you were carried by team players. Its funny that you feel the need to come back to this game after 6- plus months of not playing and telling us we are a bad player base. The tears from this one are epic.

i can guarantee for a fact that like MAG alot of ppl gonna TRY to venture out in other games seeking competition and run right back to DUST, a few have already done that more will follow once they get a taste of playing other games where actual competitive clans are playing. When i see ppl talk big on DUST i smh cuz havent seen any of the clan names outside dust yet.
Maybe ill see some in destiny if destiny turns out to be active and support clans but i doubt it that would require strats other than camping roofs, zergin and fotm stuff not sure ppl can cope without those.

Carry on :') Destiny will not be launching with PvP even last I heard. Its a different animal than Dust, but its apparently what CCP is going to try and copy for Legion
actually it is launching with it. u have to lvl up a bit and unlock ur super which is early on to unlock pvp as they dont want ppl goin into pvp under equipped
agreed it is a different animal than dust DUST is zergy and heavily based on spam tactics
destiny will not be a large scale game pvp wise, ur gonna look at more 4v4-8v8 which is fine if ur lookin at competitive stuff as above 8 **** starts to get less about skill and strats and more about zergin and spammin ****
8v8 dust was alot more fun than 16v16 there was alot more skill and tactics involved instead of just puttin FG squads up on roofs and spammin explosives
as for legion if its still the same ppl that worked on DUST then its not gonna pan out well, cuz at its core DUST as a shooter didnt deliver and u cant blame the PS3 for that when there are countless good shooters on the system. The deeper stuff yes u can say the PS3 was holding it back but the core fps stuff hell no and if Legion is to succeed then CCP needs to learn how to make a FUN fps 1st with the core mechanics nailed then slap on all the other stuff
