non-racial suits makes no sense lore wise, as everything is made by someone, and every manufacturer is aligned with someone.
Also makes it very odd to give them bonuses, or even fit layout.

What, you gonna bring in CONCORD weapons and vehicles as well? Also, that doesn't solve the problem with bonuses.
Also, Mercs go through academies like the caps last time I checked. Therefore, wouldn't they use whatever equipment that academy has? Obviously they would. Academies are racial, so they would have racial gear to use. So it still makes little sense.
Lastly, CONCORD suits would be considered a non-faction suit, so still racial.
Again, it makes no sense................

Say hello to my Gnosis.  https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/GnosisIf CCP had no problem bringing in a ship that doesn't require training up a specific race of ships as a prerequisite, then it shouldn't be a problem introducing a neutral suit into Legion. EDIT: The Jove Directorate may be a race as well like all the others, but it is technically the most neutral race there is. Other than Sleeper Technology, a good portion of our technological advancement came from the Jovians.
Gnosis has very high bonuses and can be fit a lot of ways. Also is a battlecruiser (something you don't usually start with), and a expensive T I BC at that. Also, it's not made by the Jove, it's made by the SoCT (made by the Jove, but not the Jove). There's no rookie ship that has no race.
Also, I like how you completely ignore several parts of my argument, key parts at that. And before you ask, no. You have eyes, go read it.
