There is a sentinel which is prototype and i think the stats are 360/600 (shield - armor) is that one good ? and does it unlock slots ? if yes how many cause i would like to put armor (repair-plates) and shield( repair - plates as well) if that sentinel does not unlock it , is there any other way to do it ? |

dude just check the stats on those proto suits, you'll see how many slots each has and whats the shield/armor stats. its faster that way than asking the community.

I think you are referring to the Amarr sentinel. It is good, and the Gallente Sentinel is similar.
The Gallente can get more HP than the Amarr sentinel, though. Plus, the Gallente Sentinel gets 4 high slots for armor/repair mods at proto level, while the Amarr gets 3.
Either one can get upwards of 1100 armour. |

Isn't this the second post about the same type of sh!t you already posted? Like an hour ago asking for stats for a heavy so you can run a Kali rail rifle. Stop being lazy and look it up. Write sh!t down and compare it. Bad enough you choose to run a rail rifle on a heavy suit, but to top it off you are a lazy SOB too. At least run a commando with a rail rifle & Swarms or something.

Probably the best sentinel is the Amarr.
1) In proto it can have up to 2 damage modifiers (i will check, but almost sure). 2) Similar armor hp to Gallente, but its better resistance to projectile weapons plus point #1 make it probably the best for Heavy vs Heavy Sentinel. 3) The most effective light weapon against heavies is, i think, the Combat Rifle, so the Amarr sentinel resistance is indeed very helpful. |

1. You are a big boy now, make your own opinions by what works best by experimenting. Probably stacking reppers now with changes coming to plates.

To be honest, you can use a heavy suit, but once scouts get in close, they are going to chew up because you are slow turning, and moving.
Commandos carry 2 light weapons, faster than sents., equip slot, plus still bulky enough to stand and fight to some degree.

If you want to go sentinel, or pretty much any suit to be honest, you need to max shield and armour passive skills.

Amarr and Gallente are close. At prototype level
Amarr: * Base Armor is higher by 75. This becomes 93.75 armor with maxed Dropsuit Armor Upgrades. It is very, very close to the 97.75 that you would get from a Basic Armor Plate with Armor Plating at 5. * Total HP naked with max Armor and Shield Upgrades is 1,200 compared the the Gallente's 1,143.75. * 2/3 slot configuration. * Split Defenses. 3% reduction in Ballistic (Combat Rifle and HMG) damage taken to Armor and 2% reduction to Rail (Rail Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Bolt Pistol, Magsec, and Turrets) Shield damage per level. Both of those weapons are Armor Weapons, dealing 95%/110% damage to Shield/Armor for Ballistics and 90/110 damage for Rails. * Better solo. With a better Shield, they are less reliant on needing to be healed by a Logistics or a Repair Hive. They can take a little bit more damage before doing damage to Armor.
Gallente: * 1/4 loadout. This means a higher possible Armor pool. Every low, if using Complex Armor Plates, gives 148.5 HP. This means a total Armor of 1250.25 compared to the Amarr 1,195.5. * Better bullet sponge. A Gallente, because of their slightly higher armor, work better with a Repair Tool Heavy on them. * Consist bonus. 3% bonus reduction to Rail and 2% reduction to Ballistic weapon damage to Armor per level. If the Amarr is getting hit by a Rail and Ballistic weapon they won't ever be resisting them both. A Gallente's armor will resist both at the same time. Since both weapon types are Armor weapons, this lowers the weapons that are dangerous to them significantly. Laser weapons are 120/80 so they are not that scary because of the Gallente armor and Blasters are 110/90.
They are probably tied for being "the best Sentinels" because of their higher EHP than the more Shield oriented guys and because of their Ballistic damage reduction. One of the most powerful weapons at the moment is the Combat Rifle. Even more so, the HMG is Ballistic. The HMG is the only anti-infantry Heavy Weapon in the game right now so having a resistance to it basically means the Amarr and Gallente have a huge lead when it comes to fighting enemy Sentinels head to head.
I think they average out. Gallente will have a higher HP pool while Amarr with double damage mods does about 10% more damage. One has a Cro-Magnon forehead (Gallente) and the other has like a dress/'battle skirt'

well i dont tend to care what people fit on their suits, so OP try them out, see what you like. just remember a lot of people will QQ you about using a RR on a heavy and that a heavy should only use heavy weapons.
since i play as a heavy i always carry my HMG
but since you say you've only played for less than a month, you'll find that its going to be tough for you when you bump into proper heavies. but if you are still playing after getting proto stomped then GG

Why dont you look it up shitface.
If you run proto gear, prepare to suffer the consequences. You've been warned.

Amarr is the better sentinel and is more versatile in terms of fitting. The Amarr has 2 highs and 3 lows and the best resistance in game(IMO)
Gallente can get more ehp though mods, as well as more reps. They could also run more low slots, but only have 1 high. So they can be great for defense for bad for offense.

If you want to get the most health go with the amarr heavy and if you want a pretty good suit, here is a fitting for you
Sentinel Ak.0 -kaalakota RR -flux grenade -3x complex armor plates -complex light damage modifier -enhanced light damage modifier
If you have at least 2 skills invested in "dropsuit core upgrade" under "suit upgrades" in your skill tree, I believe you would be able to fit 2 complex damage modifiers(correct me if I'm wrong).
If you want max armor and shield put 5 points into "dropsuit armor upgrades" and "dropsuit shield upgrades" both under "suit upgrades" in your skill tree and try this fit
Sentinel AK.0 -kaalakota RR -flux grenade -3x complex armor plates -complex shield extender -enhanced shield extender
If you have 5 skills invested into "dropsuit core upgrade" i believe you can fit 2 complex shield extenders(correct me if I'm wrong)
If at first it doesn't work, beat it with a brick.
