They have no idea what and how much they can transfer over, if at all.
And there is no player market to sell, nor will there be in dust. |

Its your call. Again, they have no idea what, if anything at all will be transferred to legion. So your booster may or may not. Your sp may or may not.
Eith CCPs track record It's safer to assume that absolutely nothing will transfer over and they give you random "bonus goods" for participating in beta (dust). |

I don't understand myzelf why people would think legion wont have a market.
It had nothing to do with my post, as you can clearly read each time you look, and then again after quoting.
I have a question for you however. What makes you think boosters will transfer to a game where they are considering changing the current SP system to something else? |

Also what are your ideas on isk carrying over? Any and all theories are welcome. Why do people keep saying that things will transfer over. A) There is no official statement from Leadership at CCP about transferring anything B) CCP will not jeopardize their profits for the sake of a few former Dust players getting a head start C) Use them and enjoy the game and stop posting nonsense on the forums about things that won't happen. They will not transfer anything. They only stated that it is theoretically possible in so many words. Stop making people think they will transfer anything at all Enjoy the game as is and think of legion as a separate game. use the boosters and progress until the end. Don't let them goto waste. Personally, I have a very strong theory that the player base will reduce to a point where the game will be unplayable. This will happen before the end of the year. Go for broke. So your saying the whole Q&A by Rogue was basicly bs? Im not saying your wrong I just want more of an explanation than "no". Sure legion is gonna be on pc with a different name but I don't think calling it a differnt game is entirely fair either.
The problem here OP, is that you ARE going by that post. That post was made immediately after fanfest.
On the forums more people asked for more clarification. CCP rogue or Saberwing (don't remember who) responded to more then one post saying they actually don't know exactly what will transfer over due to possible legal issues with Sony, and how they are going to change the game In Legion, but to be rest assured because "we want to give you guys something to show your investment wasn't wasted".
They also reiterated the fact that transferring SP, assets and ISK is an unknown factor currently because "we dont want to disrupt the quality of the NPE".
They are literally betting on people who don't frequent the forums like yourself, and hoping you truly believe EVERYTHING will transfer so you continue to spend money.
As you've been told already by more then one person, this Is not the case. CCP has made no definitive claims on what exactly will or will not transfer over.
Edit - and by immediately after fanfest, I of course mean the what...2 weeks it took to respond? Take all this however you want to OP. |

4000 active players isn't generous at all considering just a few moments ago there were 4,342 players playing Dust at the same time. And that is just the same time, not all ACTIVE Dust players are logged in every single second of the day.
His point still stands.
4k players are a pittance for an FPS. Hence why the match making and NPE blows.
Dust was one of the most downloaded games on PSN, CCP should be lucky they still have 4k.
Hell, terraria on steam had 15k players Today, and you can experience everything that game has to offer in a single day. |

No problem, and sorry if i sounded like a prick on my first response to your quote. I realized after that you were going by the basic lie that was Rogues announcement stickied at the top of the page, which explained it all.
To be honest you could actually try to get a refund. Many people so far have been given one up to the last 3 months (3 months at most is Sony's end game when it comes to digital refunds).
It's what I did (but this was at the start of the whole fiasco, as a veteran and player of EVE online I'm well aware of CCP's track record so I could see this coming a mile away) and others. They could still allow it. |

Hell, terraria on steam had 15k players Today, and you can experience everything that game has to offer in a single day. His point doesn't stand at all. There are far more than 4k players that actively play Dust on a regular basis. For instance I've been playing a lot this week but I wasn't part of that 4,342 peak today. Have no clue what the actual active player base is because CCP doesn't release that sort of information, though I'm sure you could get a pretty good guess given the daily peaks.
You know there's a website that shows active players...i assume you know this because you are quoting 4,342 active players. That's active players online. Not overall. Active.
If games, like say team fortress 2, have an active player count of 15k...that's triple dusts. Do you know how old team fortress 2 is? Are you aware the biggest game breaking change that game implemented was the purchase and ability to wear hats?
Active player count shows the livelihood of a game. Dust is living in poverty.
Edit - I m sorry, I mixed terrarias active player count with TF2. TF2 has 50k active players today. I assume I don't need to point out what the disparity between the two numbers mean. |

Sigh, do you think that site actually shows the active players in Dust? Really? To be clear, there are three population values we can look at: Total players Active players Online players Total players is the total number of people who ever played Dust. Active players are the players who played a few matches over the past couple days or so. Online players are the number of players currently online at a specific moment in time. The site you mentioned only tracks currently online players. You seem to be confusing online players for active players, which is incorrect obviously. When it comes to discussing how large your player base is, you use the number of active players as those are the people who still regularly play the game.
I suppose I was thinking of online players as active.
But again, if the peak amount of players online only reach a measly 4k, where as games like TF2 peak 50k....it still shows how low the playerbase for dust is. Not to mention a few mo the ago the peak player population was 8k. That speaks volumes for itself as well.
Dust has one of the lowest amount of players I've ever seen for an FPS. You cannot dispute that fact. It's extremely low. Low enough that CCP cannot even improve the match making through tiers without drastically increasing the wait times per match.
That is simply pathetic. Even CCP realized it, hence the re branding.
