As of now the minmitar is by far the weakest scout and has no real advantage besides the knife damage which doesnt really matter much since the suit itself is so weak and has horrible fitting due to shields and kin cats taking massive amounts of PG It's sad to see your post get likes. I'll freely concede that knives are worthless. You're better off with a pistol. But the suit is king of skirmish, and everybody complains it can't kill. A kin cat, codebreaker and passive scanning modules will keep your Null cannons blue and you out of trouble. Stop worrying about K/D Knives are far from worthless, but due to the Cal scout being able to see everything in a competitive game, it makes the minny scout useless. Your little pub fit with the codebreaker LOL that thing would be seen and gunned down before it even got close to a null cannon. Don't diss Nova knives and don't comment on a competitive fit if you've never actually played a competitive match.
you know what i thought chunky had a really good point after i read his post a few times and comprehended it....then i realised we're talking about PC so yeah.
So yeah skirmish I can understand how minnie scout might own by not trying to kill but trying to win the game, but then when it comes to *pc* skirmish...different ball game I guess

no offense man but therefore...back to the OP. What would you fit? Is Min scout viable in PC?
I don't see OP moaning about KDR. Perhaps indirectly by saying how are knives (aka min scouts) useful in PC. More a "what point is there in min scout when it comes to PC"
Perhaps this is an excellent balance measure - in PC.....what works. When you bring your A-game - what do you and everyone else bring? Coz that's basically what makes anything obsolete.

STD / ADV / PRO suits all have the same scan profile

Coz that's basically what makes anything obsolete. Combat Rifle, ScP, Flux nades, Uplink, Cloak. Kin Cat, Codebreaker, dampener. And watever shields you can fit in the highs/A recharger if you run out of PG. I'm sincerely baffled by people's take on this issue. Are they expecting to walk their scouts right through the middle of the 1st or 2nd most contested Nulls in the match? I've just never had the problem these people are talking about. And I'm far from a virtuoso FPS player.
Thanks! Would you fit those on a min scout?

Stop worrying about K/D
Look at you sensing all over the place, get out of here with your sense. Scouts just don't understand, they're not supposed to be a combat role. The sooner they learn this, the sooner balance can be achieved. Until then, Scout tears, best tears.
Farking hell don't you realise this is about balancing the game? The question is: what's the point of the minmatar scout outside of pubs?
